Please is there anyway I can know which side is x and which is side Y?

Hi Chinedu! In the Official Guide to the GRE, this question is shown together with a diagram, where you can see that the base of the triangle is side y, while the height of the triangle is x. We don't have the diagram on this page, but it's the same as the one Chris draws in the explanation video :)

if we multiply both options a and by y, then we will be left with x in option a and y in option b. and x is greater than y. hence a is greater than b.
is this way right?
