I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Math videos were very useful for getting the basic concepts.

Vocal Flashcards were very useful.

Practice questions were just the right difficultly for studying for the real exam.

The best part about Magoosh is the frequency at which you can practice problems and gauge your time. I learned that the GRE is as much about confidence and familiarity as it is knowing stuff. Magoosh really, really helped boost my testing confidence. Practice problems were amazing. . . I love the time feature that compares your time with other users. Videos were selectively helpful depending on what I had trouble with. The practice test feature is very nice, as well. I also really liked the Flashcard feature on the computer and on the iPhone.

Magoosh helped me brush up on my basic math concepts (it has been years since I last look at these concepts, esp factors and exponents); the GRE vocabulary builder also helped me learn a significant number of new vocabulary in a short amount of time. The score predictor also gave me a good sense of my abilities and I felt confident going into the exam.

It helped me study for math and identify and work on problems to get faster at solving. It also helped my strategy in writing.

it really enhance the velocity when I read the questions, also I think the part of "fill-in-blanks" is similar with ETS to the lagest extent.

I used the 30 day study guide though mostly did practice problems, practice tests, and vocab flashcards. I used the videos/solution text on questions I got wrong.

Magoosh is really great. It's certainly a better option than going to coaching classes.

get familiar with sentences. Magoosh helped me the first time. But the second time I kept having issues accessing the website. I currently reside in China and somehow for the past three months, Magoosh website was very slow to access.

Its lessons help know what kind of abilities the GRE exactly tests. And the practice is perfect because I can check out what't the problem of my learning.

To get an idea about the test (as in test pattern, types and ways in which the questions can be asked), and how to approach those question types. I found this particularly useful in the verbal section, since I was weak in that area, and the AWA section.

Magoosh was extremely helpful, and it was my only form of preparation. I found the questions from Magoosh a bit harder than the questions I found in the GRE, which is really good, as it made the GRE look a bit easier. The flashcards app helped me extend my range of vocabulary.

The video lessons really helped refresh my memory of all the basic math concepts that I had forgotten. The teaching style is very effective. The practice test also helped me get a better sense of how the real test would be.

The big help was in providing the structured study plans. I found it extremely convenient to be able to say not just "I'm going to study for 3 hours" but rather "I'm going to do x number of problems and watch your number of videos."

It helped me practice under real exam circumstances, in an ejoyable and easy way. Plus, the vocabulary flashcards were great.

Fantastic lessons, flashcards, and practiced exams are the most helpful ones. Also, I read articles on the cultural sections of New Yorkers and The Atlantic almost every day as recommended by Magoosh, and it helped me build up some vocabularies and get familiar with kinda tortuous writing style. Basically, I just sticked to the one-month preparation plan and it paid off eventually.
