You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Apart from the usual services provided by most other GRE coaching institutes, the most commendable feature of Magoosh is the quality of their question. I believe that this factor is cardinal in GRE prep. This is because, unlike many other entrance exams, GRE test papers are not published and a very limited amount of questions are available for reference from ETS directly. Thus, to frame questions that are equivalent in difficulty and authenticity to actual GRE is a task that requires a good deal of expertise and precision. I can confidently say that Magoosh questions, both Quants and Verbal are equivalent to actual GRE if not slightly tougher. This is something I could not find in the reading materials and practice tests of other sources.
Apart from this, the Magoosh team has really been very responsive and helpful both; offline and online (I was enrolled in the classroom teaching program too).

Magoosh was really the only resource I used besides the official gre prep book and practice tests. The math practice and explanation videos were really critical for me. A month ago I was expecting a 153 and ended with 163.

The quantity of questions and immediate video and text based explanation for every single question were extremely helpful. These helped me understand some of the tricks commonly employed by the test writers, and commit to memory concepts which allow problem maths simplifications.

The Magoosh test prep is one of the best, if not the best, online tools that help students across the world perform exceptionally well in their GRE. When I started off preparing for the GRE, I had a high target but my knowledge was found lacking in certain areas and Magoosh really helped me get a hold of them. I benefitted a lot from both, the Verbal and Quant materials & resources. The level of difficulty on Magoosh is the same as that of GRE which really helps you gauge the amount of effort you need to put in to get a good score. The support team were fantastic and were there to help me whenever I had any queries. To anyone planning to give the GRE, I would urge you to take the Magoosh subscription.

I didn't do as well on the real math section as I had been doing in my final practice tests, because I got flustered and ran out of time. I think the one thing Magoosh was missing for me was a more realistic feel for the actual testing scenario.

The text completion is very strong in logic. After I have done all of the practive from this section, I find myself doing better in other practice material!

The most helpful thing about Magoosh is the availability of review videos. I watched many videos in my "problem" areas and they helped me to learn how to approach each individual type of question.

I'm literally the worst standardized test taker in the entire planet - I took a diagnostic test and got a 155 V and 158 M. I forgot all my rules for math since I've been out of college for 4 years and I certainly was never good at verbal. But, I basically did 90% of all questions that Magoosh offered, did the targeted practice, and reviewed the vocab like CRAZY. I cannot BELIEVE I did better on Verbal than Math - I was astounded. Also, all the blogs were amazing and helped me understand concepts better. Most importantly, the videos both in the lessons and in the practice question section were really what did it for me - I genuinely believe this is what sets Magoosh apart from any other product in the marketplace. It makes learning fun! I studied diligently for about 3 months with a full time job using this product and I was really really really pleased. This is all you need to acing the GRE!

Provided a lot of practice questions which covered all the relevant concepts. The explanations were broken down step by step which made understanding a concept very easy. The explanations also are geared toward efficient problem solving to save time on the exam. I really liked that there was a FAQ section for many of the questions. And of course being able to email Magoosh with questions that I still had trouble with was an amazing feature.

I had only a month to get ready for test. I think without magoosh, i would not have been able to achieve 324. Mobile app, videos, practice tests were immensely helpful.
