You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I could practice in a real exam setting, with the computer and time limit. It helped me to improve my answering pacing a lot, specially in math. In verbal, it basically built my vocabulary knowledge. I would memorize 8-10 flashcards each day. English is not my first language so it was essential for me to do that.

I registered for a test that was less than a month away. On top of that, I had no study schedule or any idea as to where I should start studying. Magoosh was helpful in outlining a study schedule, and helped me highlight my strengths and (more importantly), my weaknesses.

Magoosh helped me by giving me a huge set of practice questions to work on.

Really gave me grounding in how to approach questions. I was strong on verbal and OK on math, but Magoosh helped speed me up and give me more strategies for getting to the answers faster and more reliably.

I cannot, in any way, skimp on lavishing you with praise. Magoosh was extremely helpful and played a huge part in my final score - especially in Verbal. I sampled question sets that my friends used from other providers such as Barron's, Kaplan, Princeton Review, etc. and I must say none of them could mimic the questions and answer choices standard of the GRE like Magoosh has.
And that's not all. The support is impeccable. In every single instance that I had doubts about particular questions and mailed you guys for help, you delivered. And the service was adequate every time.
Providing an excellent combination consisting of a great set of questions, great user interface, prompt replies to queries and superb support in general, to me, Magoosh is the ideal practice station for the GRE.

The Magoosh quant questions were extremely hard for me, and that pushed me to learn more than I originally planned to. The videos were really helpful. It was good to take practice tests too.

The flash cards and vocabulary builder are very useful. The responses for any question are always in time and helpful.

By providing Mr. McGarry's math lessons and the QR practice questions. The former were especially excellent content-wise, though they deserved better editing for typos, verbal blunders, and other mistakes in presentation. I especially liked how Mr. McGarry aimed to give his students a genuine understanding of the math in the GRE, rather than merely presenting techniques for answering QR questions.

Magoosh provides excellent skills, strategies as well as tips and tricks to perform in the GRE, even when English is not my first language.

In a lot of ways such as getting familiar with the actual test and over-qualifiedly trained so that I can face the actually test with ease.

Given that I had, roughly, only a month to prepare for the test, Magoosh was extremely effective in getting myself ready for it in time. Their questions are quite close to the actual test, the video explanations are easy to understand, and you also get a sense of how you are doing with variables such as average time taken and the difficulty level provided for each question.

A thumbs-up also for the website design - it is great! Which means that you get what you need pretty quickly.

It really brought me up to speed on all of the math topics I needed to know through the video lessons. As someone who hadn't taken a math class in about 10 years, there is no way I could have gotten a score of 159 without it. The math practice problems were equally as important.

For verbal, it definitely helped me understand the different ways a question could be phrased and the thinking of the test-maker. In particular, the reading comprehension practice problems were extremely helpful.
