You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh has a wealth of helpful resources at an affordable price. I really liked the dashboard statistics, the ability to customize timed practice sessions, and the vocabulary flashcards. Magoosh's customer service was attentive and prompt.

Vocabulary, especially sentence completion.
I think Magoosh questions in Verbal sections are harder than in the actual test. So when I become pretty comfortable answering your questions, I feel much more confident when I'm taking the actual test.

I believe using magoosh has improved my score by 10 points each on both the sections. Magoosh has all the material required for a solid gre prep. and their study plans help a lot too. Most important- give as many tests as possible..my quant score increase by atleast 5 by giving lots of mock tests.

The Magoosh prep program was clear, concise and complete. I work full time so don't have a lot of time to set aside for in-person coursework. Happily, the Magoosh materials enabled me to easily fit studying into my work breaks and evenings. It provides a manageable way to study for someone who is really busy. The materials were also more difficult than the actual GRE, which made taking the test a pleasant surprise. I ended up scoring higher than I did on any practice test, and this was despite multiple interruptions and loud noises during the exam. I'm so happy I chose Magoosh instead of the overpriced in-person courses.

It helped me a lot. Without preparation I had given an official GRE mock in which I scored 308. In one and half month preparation, I touched 325 in the official GRE mock. I did some silly things (time management) and dropped to 320 in the actual GRE. But still I'm sure I could not get past 325 considering how tricky I felt the exam was. Magoosh helped me see the logic behind the GRE questions. I felt much more confident answering both verbal and quantitative questions because I had a better sense of how to problem solve creatively. I truly struggle with math so the video tutorials, tips, and tricks helped me immensely.

The timed math practice problems made a huge difference for me. I had taken the GRE twice before with considerable practice in between, and my math score didn't change. Before my third test, I did as many of the Magoosh math practice problems I had time to do. After doing that many difficult timed problems and watching videos for any consistent issues I was having, during the test I approached the quant problems a lot more calmly and quickly than I had on previous tests. I was elated when I saw my quant score increased 6 points!
