You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh really helped me with its adequate material in verbal section. I had only 15 days to prepare for the exam and I worked on every part for about 3 hours a day. The tips were too awesome and just helped me better my GRE score by 15 points.

Magoosh was perfect for a student like me. I work full time, am planning a wedding, and trying to study for the GRE! I didn't have time to figure out a study plan for myself (I panicked! How am I going to do this?!) but then I found Magoosh. During every second of my very little free time over the last 4 months, I watched every video, did every problem and flashcard (twice!) and did a full length practice every weekend. I felt so confident and prepared going into that test. It took a lot of effort but absolutely worth it for the 14 point improvement! I can't recommend Magoosh enough for a flexible and affordable system that works extremely well.

Since practice on the computer is not like practice on the paper, Magoosh gives me a chance to practice on my computer just like the real exam.

Laid out a clear path of study for the math topics; lots and lots of practice questions that were as hard as the actual GRE.

The math problem explanations were absolutely critical for me because it helps me so much to be walked through the solution of a problem. I also have a full time job so being able to easily and discreetly access my study material online during my lunch break was awesome. I may end up taking the GRE one more time to improve my math score but because of Magoosh I feel like I can actually submit these scores to some top programs!

Brushed up my Maths skills and practiced verbal

I really enjoyed studying. The video explanations really helped me understand the problem and the solution. When I decided to retake the GRE, Magoosh was quick to respond and extended my account free of charge.

Instructional videos and practice problems were extremely helpful in understanding the math concepts.

I think Magoosh is good for people like me who can't afford the time or effort to read verbose preparatory books and prefer the video lecture format. The (large number of) practice questions are on par with the actual test. Metrics like the average time, predicted score and comparison with other users helped me adjust my pacing and understand my weak areas. Magoosh flashcards were the only ones I used for vocabulary. Although I used the Help option only once, the support was prompt.

My verbal section was really weak and I owe every verbal GRE point to Magoosh test prep. The lecture videos, vocab app and problem solutions taught me a great deal about how to solve the verbal questions and tremendously improved my English. Even though my maths was already strong, Magoosh math lectures and problem solutions taught me great tricks to quickly solve math questions on GRE.

The plethora of practice problems were very useful just to get my mind working the right way and to improve my problem-solving skills. I also loved the recommendations of other materials and the study schedules where I could identify which tests and resources would be the most useful.

Vocabulary cards were a great help. I think I will keep that app so I can keep improving my vocabulary!
The math videos were fantastic. The guy doing the videos made everything extremely simple and easy to understand.

Magoosh questions requiring harder skill sets compared to actual GRE helped a lot since it made the test way easier.

Magoosh provided me with sufficient practice questions that are typically harder than the actual test, both in math and verbal. This makes me relaxed at the actial test. The video explanation for every question is very helpful.

Magoosh helped me a lot. It has excellent video resources and pool of question for each difficulty level. But most importantly I adore the solicitousness of the Magoosh mentors. The gentle reminders if not worked for long, instant replies to all queries and overall student friendliness is unmatchable. Thank you Maggosh.

I made full use of the video tutorials, the blogs, the android apps and the question bank. The instructors Chris Lele and Mike McGarry were excellent. Not even once did I lose interest or concentration while listening to them. I am really grateful for their guidance.

I watched most video lectures and I found them very useful. When I contact support to ask questions, they replied promptly with satisfactory answers.

The Study Plans (90 Day Beginner) kept me on a structured path until test day. The videos, especially Math videos by Mike, were clutch for me. Being able to reference the video after an incorrect answer in your question bank was really helpful. I was scoring in the 305 range on my first practice test, but hit 321 on test day!
