You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Concepts were taught in a fundamental way which helps a lot.

Math videos were extremely helpful. I really liked the way they go beyond testing skills and really delve into the mathematical principles and reasoning behind the questions in a friendly and clear way.

The viedeos on AWA tasks, although few, cut right to the point and provide a simple and flexible structure for building or analyzing arguments.

I really appreciated the flash cards for vocab and lessons following each question. Big help!

The video tutorials were really helpful, and I liked how the bank of questions could be customized. I watched nearly all the videos, did hundreds of questions, and a practice test. Overall, it was a big part of my prep and really helped!

Math was never much of an issue for me but practicing on Magoosh helped me revise whatever I had forgotten and helped me become more agile at solving them For the Verbal section I can't overstate how useful Chris Lele's explanations. I don't think I would have been able to improve without his lucid explanations.

I used Magoosh to improve my math score and take practice exams. The lessons, practice exercises, and mock tests were all great and I could hardly be happier with my results. In particular I think that the lessons, which were in-depth and focused on thorough comprehension rather than rote practice, were a really important factor in my improvement.

The timed practice problems with clear explanation videos really helped.

It helps me understand the preferred way in dealing with verbal section, which helps a lot. Also, it have some tricky math problems which makes me more curious in the real test. The reading and math problems are excellent prediction for the test.

Magoosh helped me a lot in learning about the format of the GRE, and provided many difficult questions that prepared me for pretty much anything the real GRE threw at me.

The extensive practice with timed math questions and detailed explanations following each question were invaluable. The lesson videos were also great, although I didn't have much time to view many.

It made me get used to GRE questions.

It is very easy for students like me to get lost in the sea of available GRE resources. Magoosh helped me by streamlining my preparation in an ordered way. The 30 day study guide plan helped me a lot.

The video tutorials were 100% what helped me the most. I loved the flexibility that came with them. Unlike normal prep books, the smart phone and tablet apps for Magoosh's lessons let you prep virtually anywhere. The videos were also very high quality and featured high yield content that really helped me on test day.

I hadn't taken math courses since high school (about 6 years ago), so I was very nervous about the math section. So, I primarily used Magoosh to study math. I completed two practice tests on Magoosh, watched all of the math videos (which were incredibly helpful), and did many of the practice problems. It would have been much more difficult to review all the math topics without Magoosh.

Magoosh was remarkably helpful. The 1000 practice questions made me more accustomed to all the different kinds of GRE question types. The lesson videos and answer explanations were also quite informative and had some very useful tips. I also liked the study schedules (I used the 1-month study schedule). It really helped me manage my time well and get the right amount of practice each day. When I began I was struggling with completing sections on time (particularly the verbal sections with long passages), but with Magoosh videos and practice questions, I began finishing sections well before time. On test day, I always had at least 3-5 minutes in each section to review.

Thanks a ton for the service rendered. Its been years I have been out of touch with my basic maths and my verbal part wasn't that great. Hadn't you guys come into picture, I wouldn't have scored, what i would say, a decent enough score to apply for my pHD. Thanks and Cheers!

I was able to learn from my mistakes every time I missed a practice problem. The video explanations to every practice problem, and the ones about general concepts were fantastic.

Magoosh verbal practices are very close to the real GRE test problems. I benefited most from explanations in the end of each practice problem, especially readings. I would recommend Magoosh to every international student taking GRE test like me.

Magoosh really helped me to get the Verbal score I have. The lessons, practice questions, the practice tests, vocabular builder, etc were the cause. Even though I was extremely busy and I devoted very less time to studying GRE, Magoosh was enough for my great GRE score. The vocabulary builder also helped me to study words in an interesting (and not boring) way. Also, immediate replies to my questions really helped me several times.

Since I am an Engineering student, Magoosh maths practice questions and the Practice Tests were sufficient for me to get a very high maths score.

On an overall, I will surely recommend Magoosh to a friend because it really worked for me.
