You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It is very easy for students like me to get lost in the sea of available GRE resources. Magoosh helped me by streamlining my preparation in an ordered way. The 30 day study guide plan helped me a lot.

The video tutorials were 100% what helped me the most. I loved the flexibility that came with them. Unlike normal prep books, the smart phone and tablet apps for Magoosh's lessons let you prep virtually anywhere. The videos were also very high quality and featured high yield content that really helped me on test day.

I hadn't taken math courses since high school (about 6 years ago), so I was very nervous about the math section. So, I primarily used Magoosh to study math. I completed two practice tests on Magoosh, watched all of the math videos (which were incredibly helpful), and did many of the practice problems. It would have been much more difficult to review all the math topics without Magoosh.

Magoosh was remarkably helpful. The 1000 practice questions made me more accustomed to all the different kinds of GRE question types. The lesson videos and answer explanations were also quite informative and had some very useful tips. I also liked the study schedules (I used the 1-month study schedule). It really helped me manage my time well and get the right amount of practice each day. When I began I was struggling with completing sections on time (particularly the verbal sections with long passages), but with Magoosh videos and practice questions, I began finishing sections well before time. On test day, I always had at least 3-5 minutes in each section to review.

Thanks a ton for the service rendered. Its been years I have been out of touch with my basic maths and my verbal part wasn't that great. Hadn't you guys come into picture, I wouldn't have scored, what i would say, a decent enough score to apply for my pHD. Thanks and Cheers!

I was able to learn from my mistakes every time I missed a practice problem. The video explanations to every practice problem, and the ones about general concepts were fantastic.

Magoosh verbal practices are very close to the real GRE test problems. I benefited most from explanations in the end of each practice problem, especially readings. I would recommend Magoosh to every international student taking GRE test like me.

Magoosh really helped me to get the Verbal score I have. The lessons, practice questions, the practice tests, vocabular builder, etc were the cause. Even though I was extremely busy and I devoted very less time to studying GRE, Magoosh was enough for my great GRE score. The vocabulary builder also helped me to study words in an interesting (and not boring) way. Also, immediate replies to my questions really helped me several times.

Since I am an Engineering student, Magoosh maths practice questions and the Practice Tests were sufficient for me to get a very high maths score.

On an overall, I will surely recommend Magoosh to a friend because it really worked for me.

Magoosh was pretty much the only prep material I needed to get a near perfect score on the GRE. What I liked most about Magoosh prep was the freedom to prepare at my own pace. The Vocab Builder and Flashcard apps, together with the illuminating blogs made Magoosh stand out from other prep material.

Almost every feature was very helpful, not even sure what I would want improved. A lot more helpful than Kaplan.

I also like the study plan! The practice question from Magoosh are helpful, but there are not enough of them. So I turned to LSAT reading comprehension. That helped me a lot.

I really like the "estimated score" feature. It helps me keep motivated -- it becomes fun to keep doing exercises and actually see progress reflected on the increasing score. Besides, the videos are also helpful.

The hundreds of practice questions and informative videos were extremely helpful. However, I found the most helpful feature of Magoosh to be the practice tests that were set up just like the actual GRE. This made me feel at ease when entering the testing center on my test day.

It made me more confident in answering questions and let me access videos of topics I found tricky whenever I wanted to watch them. When I sat down to answer questions on the actual exam, it all seemed so much easier which made me less nervous.

Magoosh was the most helpful in outlining the types of questions that the GRE actually asks as well as giving great feedback and explanations as to why answers were correct (and even more importantly: why other answers weren't correct).

I like that Magoosh is hands on and keeps a track of all its subscribed test takers.The periodic mails from the team are a great boost. Found the vocabulary cards and the English video lessons very helpful. Thank the entire team !

I studied for my first GRE exam using resources from a number of the big-box test prep companies and was disappointed with the result. The second time around, Magoosh allowed me to focus on the harder questions and concepts, which is exactly what I needed to break 90th percentile in math (though not as high as I would have liked, still a big win for me) and bring my verbal up even further with some very targeted vocab and reading comprehension prep. Doing all the practice online also made me feel much more comfortable confronting the actual computer-based test.

It made me aware of my shortcomings and how to work on them. Magoosh also resolved my doubts timely by responding within a day or two.

loved the videos and all of the hard and very hard practice problems available. I was using a Kaplan book and realized the problems were way too easy. So glad that I found magoosh.
