You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Chris Lele is the man. Great math lesson videos and awesome tutorials for practice problems. Magoosh in combination with lots of reading will provide the confidence needed for the exam.

It helped in every way from understanding the correct way to look at a question to actually solving it.

It helped me understand the structure of the verbal section, and the math videos really helped, both to understand concepts and become faster at doing them. I loved that the practice problems linked to related videos--it made it a really efficient way to practice, and I didn't have to watch all the videos straight through.

Many practice questions and a guideline on how to prepare

Magoosh helped immensely on reviewing the math concepts. The vocab builder and flashcards really helped too :) I also loved how Magoosh has so many practice questions and explanation for each. I LOVE MAGOOSH

It provided me with lessons on topics that I thought I was familiar with, but really was not.

For the math section, the practice problems were invaluable. Not only did I get to practice GRE type questions, but I was also able to identify which concepts I had forgotten from high school and re-learn them via the useful video lectures.

Math

I don't think i can thank Magoosh enough for their math and verbal prep, their vocab flash cards and their ability to make us feel organized and top of our game during our gre prep. Math prep from magoosh made me feel the questions on the actual gre were too easy. I was initially very horrible at verbal, i improved considerably with the help of their question bank and the video explainations - helps in learning how to start off a particular type of question and what to look out for and all those amazing strategies. I used kaplan for strategies regarding AWA. The study plan(1 month), a lifesaver for someone who does not follow study plans diligently....their study plan makes you comprehend that any slacking means you will not finish prep in time.

The best thing I could get for GRE is Magoosh and I have greatly improved my verbal by doing all the exercises online.

As someone with a quantitative background, I loved the verbal questions in Magoosh - they have detailed explanations, and really taught me how to dissect a complicated sentence or passage and understand the underlying logic. The vocabulary flashcards also covered most of the words that I saw on the actual GRE exam.

A thorough question bank

I purchased all of the major review materials for the GRE and Magoosh was the most helpful. Specifically the in depth videos and large bank of practice questions were the best I found. The most impressive part of Magoosh, however, was the swift and clear responses provided by the support team on any subject. They even answered questions I had from other companies practice questions!

I could see the explanations on site. And the questions are resemble those in GRE.

Magoosh did what it said it would do. It provided practical, realistic practice for the GRE, accompanied by fantastic lessons - which were both fun to watch and spot on in terms of preparation for the contents of the exam.
I had very limited time to prepare for the GRE. I joined Magoosh to do the best I could in a very short amount of time and it still made a huge difference. I didn't have time to take a practice test before the day of, but I have no doubt it improved my score.
The best part is, I actually felt intellectually fulfilled by the contents of the lessons. I realized, for example, that I really dig prime numbers. This is a far cry from being a dry test prep course. Nice job.

Practice Questions for verbal especially.
I referred to Practice questions for Math portion and also video lessons on statistics were great (I didnt refer to other video lessons on math due to paucity of time). I was a bit inconvenient in math-stats portion, but after the lessons, I was able to solve stats questions in actual GRE exam with 100% accuracy.

My final GRE score was higher than either my before or after practice tests. I learned a lot of the math I'd forgotten from high school, and a lot of answering techniques that helped me answer questions I otherwise would have either had to skip or spent too much time on.

Thorough review of math in an easy-to-understand presentation. Plenty of practice problems to help cement what you've learned.

Quiz and practice tests helped me to pace time-pressure properly, and estimated score section was very relieving. Also, solution provided for every problem was just awesome. Lastly, vocab and math formula e books were extremely helpful.

Make me familiar with the test format.

The usp of magoosh is large number of practise questions and its score estimator ! At any point you can clearly see where you stand and how far you are from your dream score, helping you to put that little extra effort to improve.
