I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It helped me review all the concepts necessary for the exam in a concise, organized, time-saving manner. It also provided so many practice questions, and that helped me get a really good feel for the exam overall.

Provided actionable and specific data on where I needed improvement and provided the materials necessary to address those deficiencies.

The math lesson videos were AMAZING help, as well as the video explanations to every single practice problem. The writing tips helped me immensely too.

As a foreigner I find the verbal practices to be really helpful. The vocabulary selected by Magoosh is exactly what to be on the test.

It helped me practice hard questions and give me strategies for attacking the verbal section.

The most important aspect is the practice problems. The videos and help functions are also really good. I am quite strong at math, but Magoosh helps me to find some weakness and guarantees that full mark. I am not a native speaker but my university offers all English courses, and I strongly suggest those who like me using Magoosh, which can be better than following those local agencies interpreting GRE strategies in other languages.

The videos were great to break down things, and had interactive parts. Most of it was reassuring. Also, the online questions are great.

I enjoyed especially the math section of the GRE, with the explanatory videos; great way to learn!

It provides me with a verbal understanding of the Americans, and the verbal practice is great.

The flashcards are uselful on vocabulary building. Practiving qustions help me to improve my skills and shorten my time for answering

Since I work full time, the access to Magoosh study material via my phone was really helpful to study on my commute and at lunch breaks. I also found the given study plans on the blog very useful.

I was a bit nervous about the gre because I haven't been in school for a while. The online lessons were a great way to recap all the math I forgot. They also have great tips on how to think about problems like the test maker.

For verbal, I mainly focused on memorizing words and I used the magoosh vocab apps. I really liked that they had a web version that synced to the app because I could easily pick up when I was on a computer.

Personally speaking, I think that Magoosh really helps. First of all, the math practice in Magoosh is awesome! I think it is the best quantitative practice. In addition, Magoosh provides me with other's pace so that I know how much time should I spend on a certain question.

My problem has always been math. Magoosh didn't just teach the basic math foundations, it gave me a step by step on how to rationalize with numbers, how to think in the way that the GRE assesses, how to not be afraid when those numbers come up. Magoosh essentially trains you in how to take the test and the strategies that will really bolster your score.

All of the practice questions and videos with specific strategies were very, very useful.

Magoosh helped me understand the type of questions to expect. I learned the traps to take note of especially in the quantitative section. I took alot of practice tests, and that improved my confidence.

I found the very difficult practice problems in math and the very instructional videos for every single problem extremely helpful.

I came across Magoosh in a Google search about the GRE a few months ago; it was love at first sight. The Magoosh blog featured refreshingly honest reviews of GRE test prep books and all other kinds of free resources. The amazing-ness of it all convinced me to get Magoosh Premium. Ultimately, Magoosh helped to strengthen my understanding of math concepts that I had either forgotten or never learned, and it also significantly helped me to more effectively break down the reading comprehension questions. (I think at one point during the actual exam, I could hear Chris Lele's voice telling me why some of the RC distractors were wrong.) And finally but perhaps most importantly, it provided a high-quality set of practice quant and verbal questions that ended up being more than enough to practice from. These questions closely resemble the actual questions you'll see on the GRE. I can't thank Magoosh enough for everything GRE-related. The personalized feel of Magoosh didn't hurt, either.
