Yes, we can use the midpoint formula to solve this question!

Midpoint = ( [x1 + x2]/2 , [y1 + y2]/2)
P = ( [-2 + 4]/2 , [1 - 7]/2)
P = ([2]/2 , [-6]/2)
P = (1, -3)

And that's the correct answer! :)
