IF PS =SR then shouldn't angle PQS=SQR??

Hi Naveen,
No. This would only be true for an isosceles triangle with PQ = QR and therefore QS would be the perpendicular bisector of PR.

It is true that WITHIN THE SAME triangle, if two sides are equal, then the sides opposite them are equal, and vice-versa, but PS and SR are sides of different triangles (SPQ and SRQ).
