Hi. The official guide states that lurid and sensational would create two similar sentences. How so? Could you further elaborate these 2 meanings/word definitions in the GRE context?

Hi Sofia! For questions on the meanings of words, I'd definitely recommend looking them up on Wordnik.com! There, you'll see that lurid and sensational are actually synonyms — one definition of "lurid" is "marked by sensationalism" :)
