You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh verbal videos were really helpful in understanding nuances of verbal section and understanding different approaches. Though I missed a couple points on verbal due to test anxiety and pacing issue but a solid 5 point increase is nice to have.

I would strongly recommend attempting very hard level math questions if someone is targeting 167+ quant score.

Its the most awesome product for Verbal Section. I am not saying its not good for Quantitative section , I always knew I would score well in the quant but was skeptical on the verbal section.

There are lots of practice questions, which helped me to develop skills and techniques (even though you have all the videos teaching them, actually doing and practicing is more important, right?).
And all the video explainations are great! Most of the questions and answers I didn't understand at first were clear after watching the video.

The question there matches with and is a little more difficult than the real test.So when I really take the test I feel very familiar with these questions.And the most amazing thing is it's unique time recording and it really help me to form a fast-doing habit.

It helped by providing a lot of resources during my prep. Also blogs of magoosh are my favourite. They helped me with a lot of information regarding trustworthy resources. Also the practice questions are well prepared and organised, they are on the tougher end of gre which is great to begin with.

Math practice problems were very helpful, vocab builder (and mobile app) were useful as well.

In verbal section, Magoosh is really helpful, it not only provides questions that are fit with GRE, but also explicits answers in detail.

It helps me a lot! It helps me revise knowledge on maths problems and improve skills to solve verbal questions.

The math videos helped a lot, especially the geometry topics, as it has been a long time since I've done any geometry related problems. There were also tons of math problems which helped me get back up to speed in terms of pacing. Additionally, while I generally read a lot of articles from the sources like NY Times, I am not a fast reader, which made reading comprehension problematic for me. The reading comprehension practices helped a lot in my pacing problems.

The Magoosh math lessons provided me with the conceptual foundation to tackle the quantitative section of the GRE. I do not consider math to be my forte, yet I was able to achieve a respectable score of 168 on the quant section with only a month of study. The Magoosh practice problems helped me identify my weaknesses and receive the mass exposure to GRE problems that made me feel confident going into the exam. Magoosh's blog posts were a great supplemental resource as they are sprinkled with helpful advice and a bevy of challenging practice problems. Practice questions on Magoosh are harder than those in my GRE. So I find it much easier to complete the actual test.

Magoosh was a excellent resource. The math videos an exercises are incredible. Even if you are good in math, you should watch th. There are so many tips and shortcuts in them that it is hard to count.

The practice tests familiarized me with the test format. I had a clear idea of what the real exam would be like after taking 6 or 7 practice tests. I heard people saying the magoosh verbal questions are harder than the real test, but the good side is this makes me feel the real test questions are not so difficult.

Magoosh helped me with verbal a lot. I don't like learning words and magoosh explained that learning vocabulary in context is important then just learning words. I score more verbal then last time without even learning words.

It helped in building vocabulary to achieve a higher verbal score.
