I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh helps by preparing you for the most difficult questions by providing with GRE specific strategies and examples. The division of questions section-wise and difficulty wise pretty awesome. Vocabulary application covers the most probable GRE words. SE and TC explaination and the number of questiions on offer is exhaustive. Thanks Magoosh!! It helped me improve my math skills

Magoosh's study plan is the most systematic way anyone can study for GRE. The videos are really good. The Magoosh vocab builder app is all you need to get a good score on the verbal section. The mock tests are at a higher difficulty level than most of the tests available online and hence closest to the actual test.

It was awesome to have so many practice problems, especially ones at higher difficulty levels. That was essential for making me feel prepared. I also liked the built-in timer options. Overall, practicing with Magoosh came as close to the actual experience as possible, except with a better UI.
Videos are excellent--both lessons and problem explanations. Flashcards too.

Helps me to get used to GRE type questions.

Videos and practice questions are really great!

Alot, mainly letting me know where i am now.

As a non-native English speaker, vocabulary is the first obstacle to GRE verbal. After expanding my vocabulary, I start to use Magoosh. The video lessons are very helpful and the practices are well designed and similar to the real test, although I think the VERY HARD questions are much more difficult than most of the real test, practice them a lot if you wanna get verbal 160+.

It really helped with the math concepts! I liked how there was a video for every question I got wrong!

The lesson videos, especially the math videos, were incredibly useful in helping me to brush up on a lot of my rusty knowledge. In addition, Magoosh's practice questions and user interface are very similar to the one seen on the real test, so once test day came my nerves were much calmer due to the familiarity acquired by doing 100s of Magoosh practice problems. Many of the skills I picked up from the math and verbal videos will probably be useful to me even after the GRE. Everything is self-paced, and the comprehensive text and video explanations after each question help to guide you through them step by step. They're also great about responding promptly and thoroughly to your questions. I've already recommended Magoosh to several of my friends - it's awesome!

I've always struggled with math sections on standardized tests, and Magoosh is the only test prep service that has actually made a difference for me. I felt prepared taking the test and the videos gave me the confidence to tackle problems I probably would have given up on before. Thank you! (Plus, if you ask a question these guys are the sweetest! Each of them clearly understands teaching in the full sense of the word.)

Lots of helpful practice and intense study plan.

I found the time saving strategies particularly useful in the math sections of the test. I did not use the calculator at all. It were really the little things which I learned from the lesson videos which helped me ace the math sections.

Magoosh was great! The math videos really helped me brush up on the tangible skills I needed for the test. I also loved the vocab flash cards.

It pools all of the resources that I need to prepare for the GRE test together, so that I could stay focus in stead of being overwhelmed by a flood of prep books.

The videos were amazing resources - I viewed them all - multiple times! Big props to Chris and Mike (and the rest of the team!). I have a long daily commute so I spend 10+ hours in the car every week. While I couldn't WATCH the videos while I drove, it was helpful for me to listen to them during a time that would be otherwise wasted - and since I spent several hours of every day studying, even passive listening was a nice way to review as I started or ended my day.

Also, your apps were super helpful. I really enjoyed the verbal quiz app - this and the GMAT app were my constant companions as I walked around campus or stood in lines.
