I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh Product helped me a lot to practice things in my ipad. Also, the magoosh blog is the perfect companion for preparation.

I loved this program. I already have a graduate degree, but had to retake the GRE for another grad program, because my scores were more than five years old. I knew I wouldn't do as well this time around due to my work schedule, but I didn't want to fail and risk not getting into the MPH program. I used your apps while commuting for a few weeks in order to refresh my skill set. If I had your software the first time I took the GRE (back when I could actually study!) I think I could have achieved a perfect score.

The videos were the most helpful. The instructional videos for math were a big help since I have been out of school for a few years. The best were the videos in the practice session because you were able to get a full explanation of how to complete the problem.

I only had about three weeks to use Magoosh between GRE attempts. I watched all of the lesson videos but did not get to all the practice questions; however, I still saw an 11pt improvement! I wish that I had've used Magoosh to prepare the first time around instead of the other books (Kaplan and Princeton Review). Had I had more time, I can only imagine how high of a score I could have received. With the previous books, I was doing well on their practice questions but was left unprepared for the actual GRE. After using Magoosh I was much better prepared for the GRE - I think the questions on Magoosh were harder than the GRE's!

Magoosh was key in my improvement (I only bought the math package). Just going through the problems and the thorough explanations was very helpful, along with the lessons in areas I needed to improve. It was very interactive compared to practice booklets and the layout was similar to the real GRE.

Helped me tremendously with math, would not have been able to remember the formulas and equations at all. It also helped with the essay writing and helping me remember how to formulate arguments.

Alot. I had exhausted the GRE books on the shelves at the library: Kaplan, Pearson's, and McGraw, two to three books each. That was when I signed up for Magoosh online program--very close to my GRE testing date. Prior to signing up, I knew something was "wrong" because I kept getting perfect on the exam questions in the books mentioned above; this was what happened to me the last time I was preparing for my last GRE, and the result was a 69th percentile on Verbal!
Well, this year, I received a 83rd percentile for math, and a 95th percentile for verbal. Even though the math score didn't improve much, it was still the score for which I was aiming, so I feel content. And for the verbal--I keep irritating my boyfriend by checking and re-checking the score because I just feel like it's not real, or maybe I'm just dreaming. Given my background as an international student from Japan, the verbal section was something on which I almost had given up. I feel that Magoosh program was the only GRE-prep program--and I did vigorously scavenge around for many prep programs--that helped me prove myself wrong.

You might hear this often, but GRE scores do make a difference for students applying to graduate schools, especially in certain competitive fields, and being able to submit this part of the application with confidence not only is beneficial on its own, but also allows students to stay positive and confident through the stressful process.

It helped me prepare well for the verbal section. I feel more comfortable solving something on pen and paper, and so I had difficulty reading RC passages when I took the GRE for the first time. Also, the fact that I prepared solely from Barrons book added to my woes. The result was that I was not able to score well in the verbal section. This time I preferred taking online preparation and Magoosh has really helped me. I took the GRE again after 30 days and this time I was able to improve my score by 10 points.

Magoosh was an extremely accurate indicator of the GRE in content and presentation. Without access to a Windows-based computer environment, Magoosh was the only product that provided that ability. Plus the lessons were easy to understand.

I've always been reluctant to use online study programs because i've never felt like I had the discipline for them. But Magoosh has really proved me wrong! The Magoosh study plan and math videos really helped me improve my math score (I started with a 141 on my first practice test) and the verbal practice questions are challenging enough to make the GRE verbal section almost seem easy!

Magoosh is an extremely helpful product! I shouldn't have bothered with buying so many GRE prep books the first time around. It helped me improve on my weakness (quant.) and further strengthened my critical reading skills. I really liked how the practice question sessions were similar in content and format to the actual exam. It made testing less anxiety provoking! Overall, I would definitely recommend Magoosh to anyone looking for a credible GRE prep source.

Magoosh introduced me to some really hard problems in math, improving my quantitative score. The fact that I could practice even after midnight was more than satisfying, my free time between work and school was significantly limited..

being able to tailor my practice to my needs was great, as was having videos available where and whenever with my phone. dedication to having a great product really seems to have paid off.

Magoosh was great! It especially helped me improve my verbal scote. I never thought I could score as High as I did on the verbal. I went through every section calm and confident, and that is essential to do well on the GRE. I would recommend magoosh to anyone taking the GRE.

The math was especially helpful for me. By watching videos of questions I missed, I found more effective strategies for solving the types of problems that were difficult for me. The adaptive timed quizzes also helped me learn to manage the amount of time I spent on each problem and better simulate the testing environment.

The question bank was extremely helpful. I had more or less conquered the math concepts, but was having difficulty with speed. The questions gave me the opportunity to practice speed sets.

Magoosh excels in both structure and content. Their blogs, study plans, lessons, and quizzes all provided me with the framework for an effective assault on the GRE. Magoosh provided the tools, but the rest was up to me; there is no replacement for hard work.

Magoosh is the best GRE related purchase I've made. Period. The tutorials, practice questions, the amazingly thorough and prompt customer support all more than compensate for the relatively high cost of the product. I use the word *high* extremely loosely here. Magoosh might seem a bit steep in comparison to the Barron's and Princetons but the content it offers is truly unrivaled.

Magoosh math is somewhat harder than the math on the GRE but I think I feel this way because practicing with Magoosh helped me master the fundamentals required to do well on the actual test. However, I do believe that GRE math would be better classified under medium level Magoosh questions. The GRE questions were less challenging content wise but weirdly enough took a little longer to get through.

The Magoosh Verbal is positively, ridiculously, *insert every hyperbole imaginable* GREAT. Just do whatever Chris says. If he asks you to steal candy from children, you better amass yourself a truckload of pilfered skittles. Scat. I could've wasted time and memorized the entire dictionary and not have done remotely well as I did. I barely saw any abstruse vocab on the test. *Abstruse* is probably the hardest it got, word wise. The SEs and TCs were all about twisted sentence construction, nothing you don't learn to decode with Chris. RC passages weren't insanely long as I was dreading. I would however say that they tended to err more on the LSAT side in terms of the complexity of the arguments presented.

Overall I'd give Magoosh a resounding thumbs up. I'm a pretty happy camper today. Thank you Team Magoosh!
