You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Awesome product, I just unfortunately spent more.time on algebra and exponents and it seemed like the preponderance of the focus was on geometry

As a novice not knowing where to start,how to start your blog and product both helped me a lot.
Intillaly just following the feeds of the blog(the best blog for GRE till date) and buying prep plan is
the best thing i did to start the preparation of GRE.Practice questions and video explanation for
every question were infact difficult than the original GRE,even some quant questions on exam day were almost the
same as practice questions.People reading this review either novice or expert in math/verbal will surely
need this product,you wont regret it.

Magoosh very much helped me get a great score. Having completed high school 19 years ago, I felt quite out of it. The video lessons and tons of practice questions were very helpful. The math practice was tougher than the actual GRE, and prepared me quite well.

Mostly the tips and the lessons. The lessons clarify a lot of concepts in a brief and clearly way.

Magoosh helped provide the tools and strategies needed to succeed on the GRE. The quantitative section was very helpful to review formulas. The verbal lessons on video were of a very high quality and contained vital insight.

The math lessons and practice helped somewhat to improve my score on the math sections of the GRE. But I didn't have much use for the verbal practice, I was already very strong on those sections. Overall the product gave me a slight three point increase and a little more confidence for the math portion of the GRE exam.

Topic/skill review and practice. Time management.

All I studied was math, and Magoosh had so many math problems, some of which were so similar to those I encountered on the test. I also used the tracking features to understand how well I did over time.

The videos helped tremendously! While working through the math problems, it was always nice to be able to watch a video about it afterwards and see what I did wrong. It really helped me to prepare.

Magoosh was the best study guide for me because I was able to learn a concept from the video lessons by getting repetition with the hundreds of practice questions. Magoosh's strategies are helpful and save time on the real GRE (especially Chris' blog post). Using Magoosh defiantly raised my score and the ability to ask the staff questions really came in helpful for those really trick quantitative questions. It was very supportive and interactive. I felt that it gave me the confidence to tackle all kinds of questions. I really enjoyed listening to the videos, reading the blog, and looking through reviews on other gre prep programs.

I had to cram for the math after discovering that other test prep materials were lacking. Magoosh pretty much saved my math score. I'll be retaking it in a month. I'm shooting for a much higher math score and Magoosh will help me every step of the way.

I loved the video lessons, especially to review math content, and the customizable online practice.

I used your product in two phases. First I went through all of the lecture material (this was before you implemented the quizes). Then I worked my way through the math practice questions twice over. By far the best feature is having access to the videos after I complete a question. It was great for review and confirming I used the correct approach.

Although I didn't watch any verbal videos, the math explanations really helped. They were a good refresher and gave some good tips on how to tackle some questions.

I think the price for Magoosh is worth it. The creators did a phenomenal job presenting each section in the verbal and quantitative. I learned a lot and it certainly helped me get a decent score.

I think it helped quite a bit. I mostly used the Math section as I thought that was my weakest area going in. Some of the lessons are a little bit slow, but the practice question explanations are great. Really helped with problems that I missed and helped me internalize concepts.

I think this product helped me tremendously, seeing as I only had a week to study. I know that if I had registered earlier for this product I would have improved tremendously. Maybe I'll take the GRE again and have a little more practice.

The tutorials after each section were amazingly helpful.

I needed exceptional scores well above the 90th percentile to help solidify my application to top graduate schools. Magoosh provided the depth of practice and instruction that I needed to achieve my goal scores. In particular, I noticed many of the same tricks and techniques pointed out by Magoosh instructors were applicable on the actual GRE! The experience that I gained from using the service was invaluable during the exam, because I had the insight to realize the key to solving most problems (even when I didn't know a certain formula or vocabulary word). Your product gave me a realistic picture of what types of questions I would be facing and the likely difficulty level. Although I have always been better at verbal than math, it did help me improve my initial verbal score significantly.

I watched several videos a day and answered 20 math and 20 verbal every day for 2 months. There is no better preparation for the test out there.

It gave me some very helpful strategies and a ton of practice problems that ended up closely resembling the questions I saw on exam day.
