Common Payment Issues

Credit Card Declined

Any credit or debit card with a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover logo should work. If your card doesn't work, you may want to call your bank to pre-authorize the transaction (especially if you are purchasing from outside of the US) and to check that you have a sufficient balance.

If that doesn't work, you can try using a different card altogether or pay via Paypal if you have a Paypal account—just click the Paypal icon on the payment page.

Paying from India

We've had some students in India have trouble with signing up as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has placed certain restrictions on payment processors.

To solve this issue, you can try calling your bank or card company to pre-authorize the transaction. We've also had students have success with borrowing the credit card of a friend or relative, especially one who lives in another country.

Paying from Pakistan

Unfortunately, our payment processor doesn't support business with Pakistan at this time. Our students in Pakistan have had the most success with borrowing the credit card or debit card of a friend or family member who does not live in Pakistan.
