You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

1. I owe my quant score to Magoosh. The preparation videos and practice questions were enough to get me to the perfect score.
2. Chris's blogs on AWA were really helpful especially the one where he categorizes the 'Analyse an Issue' task in 7 buckets.
3. Vocab Wednesday was another useful resource, I went through about 150 of those and that really helped me in the Sentence Equivalence and Text completion questions.
4. Grading the vast resources (books and online) in one of the blogs was another highlight. That really helped me to filter out irrelevant/low grade resources.

The lessons help me remember the topics and the vast selection of exercises help me to get familiar with the test.

The math lessons really helped refresh me in a lot of the topics that I learned in high school but had not touched since then. I liked that the lessons didn't simply provide me with a list of formulas to memorize, but they went over how to approach the problem from a conceptual understanding.

It helped me review math and verbal concepts as it has been quite some time since I used those. It also helped with proper pacing and in giving vast examples of GRE questions. Most of the question in the actual GRE (Math Section) were actually just like what I answered in the practice tests, only with different values!

I have a job as a full-time teacher. I do a ton of advocacy work on the side also. My time is extremely limited, and since grad school is likely in my future, I decided to buckle down and study for exactly 3 weeks for the GRE. Magoosh helped me achieve the highest score possible in this limited amount of time. I would not hesitate to recommend Magoosh to any of my friends.

Magoosh was very helpful to me. I could access to all the topics needed for GRE at one place. The videos were done will lot to thought. The lecturer used to tell the same things what we would think. For example in reading comprehension, I used to get bored, reading big paragraphs. But the lecturer would point to same thing ,that we will get bored so feel excited. Overall it was good.

The practice questions made a huge difference! I would trip up and remember I had forgotten to study something, so I ended up covering everything before the exam :)

I followed the 90 day study plan for advanced students. It was very helpful because I could follow the schedule and wasn't overwhelmed with deciding which study materials to use and how and when to use them. The Magoosh lesson videos and explanation videos for the questions are great and the questions in Magoosh are harder than the ones on the actual test. Magoosh does a great job at teaching strategy, which is crucial for a test such as the GRE.

Magoosh is amazing! The video tutorials help a lot in addition to the answer videos. The team was incredible with it's support on email too.

I think the most important role Magoosh plays is in it's quality of questions. The questions are really close the GRE and no other product I've used comes close.

Tuning math details

The practice test were very useful.

The videos helped immensely with regards to approaching the essay sections of the exam. The math was also nicely organized and broken down in the videos so it was easier to understand. Also it helps that the practice questions were so similar to the exam.

The math videos refreshed my knowledge, and aided me in identifying tricky problems.

The practise sessions are also great.

Overall increase in both scores. Allowed me to organize tests into sections and identify areas I needed to improve.
