You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The practice problems were super consistent with the test

Magoosh was extremely helpful in my preparation for the GRE. The practice questions were very accurate and helped in preparing for the actual test questions. For anyone taking the GRE, I strongly suggest that you pay for the premium membership. They provide excellent service at a fraction of what other people charge for it. Chris' videos in particular were very informative and lively. As with any test, time management is crucial and Chris' videos assisted me in managing stress and time very efficiently. Keep it up guys!

Helped me learn math concepts I haven't used in 10 years so that I was able to make my math score competitive

The practice questions were very similar to the types of questions encountered on the GRE, being able to go through all the different types of questions to get an understanding of how to approach different problems was very useful and the video explanations for each question did a great job not only explaining the answer, but the thought process required to reach it. The vocab app was also very useful in being able to learn new vocab in a quick and intuitive manner. I am convinced that the magoosh service led to my math and verbal scores that I am very pleased with.

I'm an international student, so when I started studying I had no idea what material the GRE offers, how difficult it is to get a good score and how to prepare. Watching the Magoosh videos took me through the process of understanding the test, showing me the right materials to study and of course a lot of (very high quality!) practice questions. I also love that Magoosh provides a lot of study materials (apps, a Chrome extension, the blogs and Youtube videos) for free!

Brush up on ideas and more structured practice

Magoosh helped me immensely in building vocabulary. The quant questions were useful in brushing up maths skills.

The test section help with setting a good sense of timing while solving questions. The videos for the verbal section drastically improved my score the section.

Questions and lesson videos were great. Flashcards and study guides were also incredibly useful. The customer service was very courteous and fast.

I rely exclusively on Magoosh and ETS material, nothing else.
I wish I had taken advantage of the vocabulary app more, it's very helpful.

The large database of practise problems , wonderful explanations, lesson videos and the vocab app were very helpful. The study plans brought out the principles of prep well, so i could tailor it to my schedule. It also really helped to see a dynamic diagnosis of types of problems and topics in which i was struggling,so i could quickly shift focus to areas that needed attention. I also think practising on the computer from the start smoothed the test taking pains. Highly recommend for working professionals, especially for those trying to fit GRE prep into a tight schedule, i had one month with a full time job. It squeezes into your shorter and longer breaks during the day well. And those who travel a lot , helps motivation when you don't have to lug around several books. The lessons and the schedules helped me study with a structured approach, broaching new topics slowly, practicing all the time. The quality of questions were amazing really, and in the few attempts to expose myself to questions from other GRE services, I found the others quite not GRE like.

My GRE studies before Magoosh were not structured. After signing up for Magoosh and following the plan set out by Magoosh team, I was able to put in a more meaningful effort. The Magoosh questions prepared me for the tough quant section and their explanation by Mike were my sole source of explanation.

Reps for questions are so important and Magoosh is a great resource for that, providing a comprehensive solution guide and explanatory answers/videos for everything. It's also incredibly helpful to use different modes for answering questions and the filtering options for varied types of practice.
