You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Video answers to every question was helpful

Magoosh definitely boosted my confidence going into the math sections of the test. I was busy with school and didn't study nearly enough, so the lower verbal score I got was on me. However, I was surprised how helpful the math lessons were even though I only studied a fraction of them. I'm sure that if I put in a week of solid study with Magoosh before the test I could have achieved 167+ in both categories.

Magoosh helped so much! If I hadn't found Magoosh I wouldn't have done nearly as well. I just wish I had started studying sooner! The lessons were amazing and I loved doing practice problems on Magoosh because of the explanation videos. Magoosh was a life-saver, thank you so much!!!

I really appreciated the detailed answers on the math sections. I also found that the difficulty of the math questions provided by Magoosh really prepared me for the test, which seemed a lot easier.

The math videos were extremely helpful.. Also getting used to the computer format of the questions was very valuable

Magoosh was great for helping me review all the Quantitative topics in detail. The difficulty of practice questions was also very helpful (although at times frustrating), and helped me pick up on many common GRE tricks. By the time test day rolled around I wasn't phased by more than a couple of questions on my 3 Quant sections. I also found the vocab apps very helpful for improving my Verbal score. I'm pretty sure I got several points from those apps alone.

Really great detailed math lessons, the question explanations were good too. It was also helpful that most of the math problems were more complex than the actual test.

I used the 90 day prep course to prepare. I really appreciated having a structured plan to follow. Did I always adhere to it? No. But it was really nice to have tasks and tactics outlined for me so that I wasn't floundering around about "how" to study for the GRE. The videos were very, very helpful as well!

I really had no idea how to study for the GRE or how to distribute my time. Magoosh's study plan and materials really helped me structure my studying and allowed me to see how I was progressing. The whole program was also very user friendly and adaptable. It was definitely worth the money!

Incredibly student-friendly interface with a super responsive staff. The vocabulary flashcards and questions helped me break the 160 barrier in the verbal section. The math questions had great in-depth explanations and were a bit harder than what I saw on the GRE. It helped me practise my time management skills. The ability to take adaptive section-wise tests focusing on particular question types was by far the MOST helpful part of this program. Getting all this at a fraction of the cost of other online courses or local coaching centres was the icing on the cake! Fantastic course, I highly recommend it to anyone.

Magoosh provided high quality practice material, a structured learning environment, and a study plan to ensure that I cover all the bases. Additionally, the adaptive questioning suited my needs for more advanced content, and the GRE-like interface helped me get accustomed to actual test conditions. The tips on stress and time management also proved valuable.

My favorite utility was definitely being able to create a quick review question session of 5, 10, or 20 questions at a time. I set personal daily goals of doing 10 new quantitative questions and 10 new verbal questions, which was a scalable level of new material each day.

I also loved the predicted test score that Magoosh provides. I ended up scoring higher in both categories, but it was a nice feeling to know, somewhat, where I was at with my scoring.

It helps me much! I will recommend it to everyone who will take a GRE test.

I am looking to earn my Master's in Mechanical Engineering, so I spent the bulk of my time studying for the math portion. I studied for a month and a half while working full time. Magoosh was very convenient for someone like myself. I was able to concentrate on the quant subjects that I was deficient in by watching the pertinent videos and practicing questions over those topics. If I had given myself more time to practice, I think I could have earned a perfect score in the quant section and increased my verbal score by at least a couple of points. Even with the limited time I spent studying, I should have no problem being admitted to the graduate school I have chosen.

Helped a lot in the verbal part, especially for the logic of sentence.

I was strong at Math and I signed up for Magoosh mainly to improve my English. The Vocabulary app as well as the portal helped me to develop my vocabulary and improve my performance in English. I was working full time and had only evenings to prepare - the practice material was perfect for me and help to improve my performance in a short time. I actually didn't do well in my actual GRE as compared to my preparation earlier, but despite got 153. The Math practice questions also helped me to refresh my memory and pick up speed. Further, my account was expiring 1 month before my exam and I should also thank Magoosh Team for extending my account till my exam.

Magoosh provided excellent study materials to help me prepare. The videos and practice questions were particularly useful, and the Dashboard was a great way to keep track of my progress and find areas where I could improve as I made my way through the questions. The study guide set a schedule and stick to it!
