You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I only wanted to increase my math score, so I did not study the verbal sections at all. I went through most of the lessons and all of the practice problems over several months. I found both of them to be extremely helpful. I would recommend Magoosh to anyone.

Segmented Problem Types, and Hard Problems

Magoosh helped me improve my performance on the Math Section of the GRE. I thought the practice method was great, since I could use it on my laptop, phone, or tablet. I could take it on the go and solve the problems as time allowed.

magoosh was amazing. I was able to focus on areas where I knew I needed to work, and the practice problems provided unparalleled help. The self paced tutorials are great for someone like me, a working professional who doesn't have time for a full time or evening class.

The math prep was very comprehensive, and I improved my time management through use of the timed quiz function. I also appreciated the opportunity to become comfortable with the computer-based format. Magoosh was a great resource to me and I am very glad I used it!

The portable nature of the Magoosh program was a perfect fit for my busy schedule. I was able to listen to videos or practice questions at any moment I chose simply by opening the app. My predicted scores were right in line with my actual scores. Thanks!

It helps a ton. After taking the Math Practice, I knew what the questions would be in the actual exam, so I was quite at ease when I met a hard one. The Verbal Practice also helped me a lot -- the very hard questions were indeed very very hard! Practicing them made me not nervous anymore and finally I got my dream score. I'm so happy with it!

Magoosh makes me accustomed to the feeling of psychological breakdown facing with hard words, which, I think, is the most helpful emotional strength in a GRE test.

My verbal was very weak and I had poor vocab. Magoosh helped me stay consistent with study plans.

Loved the videos and the vocabulary flash cards. The study plan helped me prepare effectively. The plethora of practice questions was extremely helpful, especially since every single one has both a video and written explanation.

It did give me some new ways to approach the different problems.

It was a great umbrella program. It really helped me understand all of the different components of the test to study and paced me very well. I wished I had had 2 weeks to study after finishing the 90 day advance program, but didn't have the time due to personal commitments. Altogether, it was a great course and well worth the money.

Magoosh was extremely helpful to me in two aspects. Firstly, the verbal practices and the explanations that come along are amazing in helping me dissecting the complex syntax and logic of the real GRE verbal questions. Magoosh staff are very fast to respond my email inquries as well. Secondly, the math questions in Magoosh are a lot harder than the actual GRE questions. So I was very well prepared for the actual test.

The vocabulary building flashcard program was really useful, I feel I improved a lot. The math tutorials were also a great help in recalling maths that I hadn't touched in years.

Math tutorials helped me improve my mental math and problem solving skills. All the practice problems were beneficial in getting used to the format of the test.

There are lot of good things about the online material provided by Magoosh. Few I will specifically mentioned which helped me a lot:
1) All the Math lessons: I would recommend to everyone even if are strong in quant. It provides very good insights and also help you avoid trap.

2) GRE vocabulary app - very useful so that you can prepare anytime. I used this extensively

3) verbal material - quality of questions are excellent. It was more closer to the real GRE.

All in all, material provided by Magoosh is matchless.

Magoosh allowed me to study on my own time while working full-time. I needed quite a bit of math review, and the lessons and practice were really really helpful.

Verbal and brushing up on math.

The tips for how to approach problems was more helpful than in other prep books I had. I also liked the study schedule to monitor my progress. Having a score predictor gave me confidence for test day (although I wasn't initially sure how accurate it was). The practice tests (including that extra experimental section) helped build my stamina as well. I enjoyed logging on and watching my pie change, watching explanation videos on 1.5 speed, and redoing problems I flagged or left comments for.
