You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Your product is one of the best GRE preps available today. The math part was especially good.

I prepared for GRE simultaneously with my office work. With the flexibility Magoosh provided , it helped me to coordinate both work and preparation.

The unlimited number of practice questions was so helpful, and I greatly benefited from the lesson videos. Also extremely helpful were the videos which worked through ETS practice tests. I am very thankful this product, very satisfied.

Magoosh is an extremely helpful product! I shouldn't have bothered with buying so many GRE prep books the first time around. It helped me improve on my weakness (quant.) and further strengthened my critical reading skills. I really liked how the practice question sessions were similar in content and format to the actual exam. It made testing less anxiety provoking! Overall, I would definitely recommend Magoosh to anyone looking for a credible GRE prep source.

Magoosh introduced me to some really hard problems in math, improving my quantitative score. The fact that I could practice even after midnight was more than satisfying, my free time between work and school was significantly limited..

being able to tailor my practice to my needs was great, as was having videos available where and whenever with my phone. dedication to having a great product really seems to have paid off.

Magoosh was great! It especially helped me improve my verbal scote. I never thought I could score as High as I did on the verbal. I went through every section calm and confident, and that is essential to do well on the GRE. I would recommend magoosh to anyone taking the GRE.

I really have no idea how to explain how helpful Magoosh was. I can say for sure that Magoosh is probably one of the best tool to use when preparing for the GRE. I did not even use anything else because Magoosh was so awesome! I owe my scores to you guys! Thank you so much!

The math was especially helpful for me. By watching videos of questions I missed, I found more effective strategies for solving the types of problems that were difficult for me. The adaptive timed quizzes also helped me learn to manage the amount of time I spent on each problem and better simulate the testing environment.

The question bank was extremely helpful. I had more or less conquered the math concepts, but was having difficulty with speed. The questions gave me the opportunity to practice speed sets.

Magoosh excels in both structure and content. Their blogs, study plans, lessons, and quizzes all provided me with the framework for an effective assault on the GRE. Magoosh provided the tools, but the rest was up to me; there is no replacement for hard work.

Magoosh is the best GRE related purchase I've made. Period. The tutorials, practice questions, the amazingly thorough and prompt customer support all more than compensate for the relatively high cost of the product. I use the word *high* extremely loosely here. Magoosh might seem a bit steep in comparison to the Barron's and Princetons but the content it offers is truly unrivaled.

Magoosh math is somewhat harder than the math on the GRE but I think I feel this way because practicing with Magoosh helped me master the fundamentals required to do well on the actual test. However, I do believe that GRE math would be better classified under medium level Magoosh questions. The GRE questions were less challenging content wise but weirdly enough took a little longer to get through.

The Magoosh Verbal is positively, ridiculously, *insert every hyperbole imaginable* GREAT. Just do whatever Chris says. If he asks you to steal candy from children, you better amass yourself a truckload of pilfered skittles. Scat. I could've wasted time and memorized the entire dictionary and not have done remotely well as I did. I barely saw any abstruse vocab on the test. *Abstruse* is probably the hardest it got, word wise. The SEs and TCs were all about twisted sentence construction, nothing you don't learn to decode with Chris. RC passages weren't insanely long as I was dreading. I would however say that they tended to err more on the LSAT side in terms of the complexity of the arguments presented.

Overall I'd give Magoosh a resounding thumbs up. I'm a pretty happy camper today. Thank you Team Magoosh!

As I had been preparing for the GRE, I also waded into the internet for some munificent ministration, and I blundered upon Magoosh. To me it was a tardy revelation, because I had only two weeks to my test date, and I did not felt prepared (math: my Achilles heel). I had been practicing with some largely touted workbooks (Kaplan), but my first attempt to tackle the GRE PowerPrep was a fiasco; I got rattled, run out of time and wasn't able to finish the mock test.
At Magoosh I found valuable tips & lessons, excellent practice, queer words and puns put at work - a treasure trove for non-native speakers like me -, prompt and affable feedback (thank you once again, Rachel!). I crammed as much as I could and on the test day, I felt confident and composed.

It helped me the most by simulating the exam online. Before Magoosh I had only used book-based resources (I have a mac so there was hardly anything for my computer system online). The strategies for answering the questions quickly were, in general, hugely helpful -especially in the math sections.

The verbal section helped me quite a bit. This course material was MUCH better than anything else offered. I took course offered by Kaplan that cost me over $500 and I didn't learn nearly as much there as I did from Magoosh. So thank you guys for putting together so much comprehensive materials.

I think I did the wisest thing by joining Magoosh. Such a great resource: all their questions and videos are so relevant to the real exam. The team at Magoosh is fabulous as well, professional and just so amazing in answering the toughest of questions.

Though I had hoped for 320+ score, I am satisfied with what I've got (317).

Magoosh was instrumental in raising my English and Maths standards. The questions Magoosh has in its repertory, are at par with the ones you see in the actual test. Moreover, I got the score exactly what was anticipated by the Magoosh system.

Verbal - The videos are excellent and efficacious. By watching them again and again, the strategies get imbibed in your mind and becomes a part of your subconscious. The tips Magoosh team provides in their blogs are inimitative, rarely shared by any of the top training institutes for free.

Quant - The strategies and approaches to unfathomable problems are really helping. They help not only to crack a difficult question, but help you develop an approach which you can apply even to simpler problems to solve them well within time. Following this, consequently, I had 5 minutes to spare in each Quant section.

Thanks to the whole Magoosh team, and last but not the least - I am a software engineer with an extensive experience in software building and I have no doubt in saying that Magoosh system is by far the best in business and is absolutely brilliantly designed with a rich and easy user-interface.

Magoosh clearly helped me so much with the math portion, I improved 6 points (and my first score was pretty bad). The video tutorials are extremely helpful.
