I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It completely reinvigorated my ability to work with numbers—knowledge that atrophied a long time ago.

It was a great review of the math I learned in high school and haven't touched since (8 years). The lessons were clear, concise, just what I needed to familiarize myself with the topics again. The intro sections to the AWA were also helpful in thinking about how to approach the sections, though they were wordy and took too long to get to the point.

The product helped me immensely by developing my confidence. Some of the math problems are difficult than ones encountered on GRE.
I would recommend Magoosh for both Verbal and Quant.

I was really nervous and anxious about re-learning math because I didn't take any in college, and had always hated it in highschool. The videos were very straightforward and calming and really made me feel like every problem was simple enough for me to do on my own. I'm planning to take the test again in a month as I believe I have room to improve.

Provided me with computer-based practice. Practicing in a book isn't nearly as helpful as working on a computer screen to simulate the real test.

It's tough for me to thank you guys enough for what you might have done for my future. I'm going to try and help your bottom line by referring you on as many GRE message boards as possible, but the rigor of the questions is a major bonus. It's tough to have every question type or vocab word listed, but the tough questions made me prepared to the point where I knew how to attack every problem. I honestly felt I could have aced the test and to tell you the truth disappointed in my quant score (159), but I legitimately thought I had every question right because I knew how to attack every question.

It was GREAT! I've been out of school for 6+ years, haven't thought about math for even longer than that, so Magoosh was just what I needed to refresh my memory and teach me a few things as well. I also loved the tips and tricks in the verbal/AWA sections. It all helped a LOT, even though I didn't get the score I wanted (it would have been MUCH worse without Magoosh).

It helped with the verbal, especially. I liked the way I could do problems in "practice" mode and see if I was getting the gist of things or not before doing a bunch of problems wrong. Your customer service is amazing! I loved the individual, personalized emails explaining problems that I didn't understand.

Honestly, I didn't get to use it enough to say. The tutorials were extremely useful and I felt better going in... but as you can see not much changed and my math score, the one I was worried about, went DOWN!

I feel magoosh helped me a lot in improving my score. organised way of video lessons helped me to understand the organised structure of gre exam. Video explanations are really helpful.I would strongly recommend magoosh for any gre takers.

Magoosh provided a wealth of well-structured and truly representative quant problems. Doing those several times, along with taking several practice tests in Magoosh, really helped me get comfortable doing extremely difficult quant problems in under a minute and a half. Also, the videos helped clarify any areas where my understanding was somewhat lacking.

I used Magoosh only for about a week and mostly on the Verbal section. Since English is not my first language I was really stressed about not understanding difficult passages or certain terms. I took the GRE today just to get a feeling of the test, knowing that I was not prepared. I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw an almost 160 on my Verbal section. I loved your videos and practice test on the verbal part. As for the math, I haven't really had time to study. I took a week off from work and kind of perused through the material. Many of the mathematical concepts seemed too complicated for me to grasp (at least now, 20 years from my last math lesson that I can remember). Also, I had a hard time maintaining focus on the 9 minutes long videos. They seemed too dense for me. I will go back to your site and start small when I'll begin my preparation. I don't know if 4-5 weeks is enough time for someone who starts from scratch to get a decent score on the Quantitative part of the GRE...Maybe you guys would have some suggestions on how to better prepare... It is such a blessing that you exist...I would have perhaps given up on the idea of applying for a PhD if it weren't for the great recommendations of your users.

Maths course structure is pretty good..Verbal also helped a lot.

The individual lessons were very helpful. I was able to review all areas in math that I hadn't taken in over 5 years.

I cant comment on the maths material of Magoosh since I used only their English material. It really helped me improve. Initially, my verbal score in the diagnostic test by powerprep was 140. With Magoosh I went to 153. I would like to add something though. This course will help an individual if he is ready to work hard. If you are ready for that, Magoosh is the way to go.

The product was awesome. The customer service was exceptional. There were other products I tried that offered similar things but this program was the best and comprehensive. This combined with flashcards, and the official GRE book expanded my vocabulary, got me use to taking large numbers of questions, and doing everything with speed.

It really helped me learn the math and without your product I doubt I would have done half as good.

It really helped in the verbal section. In the math section, it helped in the word problems. However, I have never had geometry and didn't get that section done very well, so I failed all geometry questions.
