How did Magoosh help you?
Before I started my preparation, my English was abysmal. My vocab was wanting and I could not really understand sentences with heavy words. Magoosh's free vocab ebook + Chris Lele's Vocab Workbook proved to be a panacea for all my inadequacies. I religiously studied those books and found them more than sufficient for my GRE prep. Magoosh's lesson videos were really good and helped me refine my knowledge in various areas of verbal and quant sections. I solved each and every question which gave me a good idea of what to expect on the exam day. Resolving all the wrong questions helped me understand my mistakes and boost my score. There are video explanations for all the questions which means you can watch them as many times as you want and understand what you did wrong. Also, Magoosh's staff is just awesome. They are easily accessible through email and they respond really quickly (like, within minutes). They were always there whenever I had doubts or wanted some advice on how to improve. Truly, can't thank them enough. Finally, Magoosh proved to be a one-stop solution for everything I needed. I did not have to take up any extra books for my preparation. And don't forget to revisit the questions you got wrong. Solving them is as important as eating your veggies. I mean it!
