I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The video lessons were perfect for reviewing forgotten math rules. The verbal lessons were amazing when learning the logic of 'filling in the blanks'; learning how to answer based on content, not on my assumptions.
I loved being able to see the related lesson while taking the quizzes/tests!! I used the kaplan books when I first took the GRE 6 years ago, was not happy with my results. I initially started with the Kaplan books again this time around, then I stumbled upon Magoosh...wow, Thank Goodness!!!!! Amazing...very happy!!!

The lessons were extremely easy to follow and were "broken up" appropriately. The questions were adequately difficult and the explanations were thorough. The score predictor was accurate as well. Responses to questions were prompt and thorough.

The product really helped me with the math portion of the GRE. The first time I took the GRE I did not study for it, thinking it would be basic Math and Vocab. So I looked online and found your website. Like I said the math explanations, videos, and quizzes really helped me out to grasp concepts I learned so long ago. The Vocab portion was great, but I tried using many of the strategies on the actual GRE that I learned and it lowered my score, I should have practiced them more. Only studying for about 2 weeks and increasing my score that much makes me know that the product works.

Magoosh was the single best helper in studying for the GRE! I actually only used the Magoosh program and different vocab books to study... no other study books! I love that the website was able to break everything down into sections and into a manageable study program. Before I had heard of it, I looked at a Kaplan book and felt overwhelmed, lost, and helpless. Magoosh product is very helpful, the stragies by chris are very helpful , the videos at the end of each question helps to find why the answer is correct/wrong. It is important to learn this and magoosh team is very helpful. After my first attempt , i have requested magoosh team to help me how i can i mprove my score, the suggestions are great, within 25 days i have taken my second attempt and am happy about my score.

I was confused about the whole gre process and it got worse when revised the came up .magoosh blog cleared lots of my doubts and that lead me to get the premium subscription. the video lessons and explanations for individual questions were comprehensive. the pool of questions were close to that I encountered in the real exam, especially verbal . above all , the support provided by the magoosh team was very helpful.

I found the dashboard incredibly helpful and predictive of my final score. The flexible practice tool allowed me to focus on my trouble areas. Moreover, the ipad app with all the videos compiled in one place was extremely informative! Thanks Magoosh

Your video lessons, practice questions and blog are probably the best way to study for the GRE. Along with the ETS book, it is the best preparation you can get. The best about magoosh are the video explanations which facilitate your study incredibly. I dind't care much about the verbal section so from my 30 day study plan (after the first gre attempt) I spend at most 3-4 days studying for verbal(i am not a native speaker). Half a month of further study (to review all the math problems again and learn more words) would definitely get me to 165+ in math and 155+ in verbal. But enough with the gre! Quick tip: as a coffee junkie myself, and after having a lot of stress with my second gre attempt, I followed Rachel's advice for no coffee before the exam. It helped incredibly.

It works almost as if a tutor is there guiding you along. The product is easy to use and highly effective if one practices often and consistently. I bought $300 in GRE books and had a personal tutor for three months and used Magoosh for less than a month before the actual test. The program was comparable to what I was doing before with the books and my tutor, but that Magoosh's program was adaptable and there for me 24/7.

oh...it was a life saver!! All I practised was Magoosh and the official guide. I was extremely worried about verbal but your 300 words book really helped. I found a lot of words in the GRE from this book. Maths is good too. You have a lot of problems that are harder than actual GRE. Without Magoosh, I couldn't have cracked GRE in approximately 45 days.

Yes , it helped me alot in terms of making my brain run faster while reading actively since I have done lots of practicce in Magoosh. Though I practiced alot in Manhattan and Kaplan, Magoosh gave the twisted math questions which you'll face on test day.
But you still need to improve DI part.

When I started practicing for the GRE using Magoosh's practice questions I was averaging about 153 on the verbal and 145 on the math. Magoosh helped me identify the areas in which I needed to improve - and which sections and lessons specifically to focus on. The tool that allows you to watch how a question you get wrong would be answered correctly is so beneficial, as is the ability to click for definitions of words.

I also found the lessons extremely helpful. As you can see by my scores, I am not particularly strong in math. However, I used the lessons provided on the Magoosh website, which made me much more comfortable with many of the math questions on the test. The lessons are taught in such a clear and concise manner that they were even easy for me to understand. They taught you exactly what you needed to know to answer math questions on the GRE - without adding a great deal of extraneous information.

Finally, the price I paid for all of this - $99 - was a steal in comparison to other study programs I considered. The fact that it was all available online also made it great for me... I work and go to school so I had to steal quick moments of study time whenever I could. Having the practice just a few clicks away made that possible.

I liked the high quality and sheer quantity of Magoosh's GRE questions.

It really helped to have a lot of GRE questions, and I really enjoyed the perspective score keeping me motivated to study.

I was always going to get a high score in the math section - having studied nothing but Mathematics in the last three and a half years. However, I was dreading the verbal section, I have no had to write an essay or use obscure words in a very long time. With Magoosh I was able to see where I was going wrong and learn new techniques to help me takel any problem. What I particularly liked was that they had video explanations for all of the questions.

I found the math practice videos and problems INCREDIBLY helpful. The trick for me was to relearn skills I had already studied, practice them until they became second-nature, and use them in timed settings. Magoosh enabled me to do all of these things in an organized way.

I couldn't have taken the GRE without Magoosh. The math especially was laid out so sequentially and was a wonderful refresher of everything I had learned in high school. Without it, I think I would have bombed the math. The verbal gave me a host of words to study which was helpful.

I gave myself two months to prepare for the GRE. While I felt confident about the verbal section, I hadn't had a math class in 12 years. After taking a Magoosh practice test, I realized that I was not only woefully unprepared for the math section but that I had also overestimated my verbal proficiency! It was a wake up call and I got to work on the practice questions, taking practice tests every week. Magoosh was my only method of preparation for the GRE, and I when I took the test I raised my score 7 points on the math portion and 9 points on the verbal, for a total of 16 point improvement over that first practice test. I ultimately scored higher on the GRE than I did on any of the Magoosh practice tests! The verbal score is the one that really matters for my program, and thanks to Magoosh I ended up with a very competitive score. Thanks for making a fantastic product!

Magoosh served as the facilitator and organizer of my studying. I had 6 weeks to study, finished all the lesson videos in the first two, then did as many practice problems as I could thereafter. I also went through other books (PR), and found they provided little information that wasn't redundant with and more thoroughly covered by Magoosh. Finishing the lessons while taking notes, all while taking relevant quizes, helped sink in all of the knowledge strategies necessary. The most helpful part though was the practice questions - learning the material is less than half the fight, being able to apply it agilely are essential to doing well, so you need as many practice questions as you can get. The video explanations for each question were also an amazing resource, leaving no instances of confusion. Lastly, I read everything I could in the blog, and that taken into account, I doubt there's much more I could have done but more practice! Very thorough product, the predictions of my score based on my practice performance were accurate. Wish there were more ways I could thank those of you working at Magoosh. I wouldn't say any other resource could substitute - minus the obvious use of actual ETS practice tests/questions, everything you could imagine needing and more was here. Thanks!

Your product contains a lot of videos, which mostly explain answers very clear and make them easy to understand.

Immensely it helped especially Quants.
The BEST past about Magoosh is the score predictor. believe me or not, it is more accurate than Power prep.

Your product helped me to brush up on my math basics which were pretty rusty. Also, the explanation videos for every answer were a great help. The recommended lesson videos for every wrong problem helped me identify the problem areas and to revise the lessons with underlying concepts as many times as required until I got it right. This helped me move ahead 30 percentile points in my math score. This preparation helped me to have a methodical approach to solving problems and I was ready to face the GRE unafraid this time. Kudos to the team! I'm sure this venture of yours is destined to be a great success.

Magoosh was great for reviewing math concepts. The videos are more engaging than just reading a book. Answering questions online also helped prepare me to take the computer adaptive test.
