You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Good practice questions! I only had a week and a half to prepare so I just drilled questions over and over. When I first took the practice GRE I got a 152 verbal so a 9 point improvement in under two weeks is huge.

Magoosh was instrumental in preparing me for the GRE! I had a little over a month to prepare, and although I was nervous about refreshing myself on years' worth of high school math in such a short time, the 30 day studying schedule was perfect for my needs. I loved how it efficiently tackled every aspect of the test, ranging from foundational math knowledge to mock essays and plenty of practice questions. Magoosh offered an incredible amount of flexibility; I could work at a time that fit my needs, customize practice problems according to difficulty and subject, and rewatch videos if needed.

I especially appreciated the video lessons; Mike made re-learning high school math less painful (and at times fun!) while Chris offered wonderful strategies to tackle the essays and those dastardly triple blank vocabulary questions. They were a great source of comfort whenever I was doubting the material and how ready I felt for the exam. :)

Vocabulary flash cards and lesson videos, email responses to questions

The math videos saved me! I studied for around three weeks and watched all the math videos following the one month study plan. Super helpful and will definitely recommend to people! The vocab flashcards were also great, so many of the words showed up on the test! Thanks again!

Moreover, the dashboard gives you a good estimate of your final scores and helps you understand how much additional efforts are required to achieve your set target.

Helped me prepare

I completely relied on Magoosh for my preparation, and that has done wonders for me! I briefly used Magoosh to prepare before I took the GRE in December 2017 after completing a Manhattan Prep course. Although the practice questions were helpful, I wasn't sure how to tackle learning new content because there wasn't a curriculum. When I started preparing for the GRE last month, I used the one month advanced dashboard that guides you through which lessons to complete. It was incredibly helpful to have a study plan that suggested lessons and the types of questions I needed to practice.
