You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh was a godsend. I had only 4 weeks to prepare so I focused on the quantitative lessons as that is my weaker area. The lessons were comprehensive, explaining concepts in an easy to follow style. The practice questions closely resembled those on the actual exam and the video explanation after every question is priceless. When I had questions that the videos didn't answer, the support I received via email was impressive. I honestly couldn't recommend Magoosh enough. If I take the test again -to get a better quant score- and use magoosh as a study guide, I have no doubts that my score will be higher.

I studied for 2 months prior to hearing about Magoosh. It was an entirely different experience compared to those Barron and Princeton Review books! Having timed practice on a computer prepares you for test day. I scored higher on the GRE in verbal (159) than predicted range (153-158) and my math score (153) was mid-range as predicted (152-157). I did every practice math problem available, studied the common and basic flash cards until I mastered them, and took 3 practice tests. My actual GRE was better than all of the practice tests and the powerprep- Magoosh mentally prepared me so there were no surprises on the actual test. I agree with others that Magoosh's math problems are harder than the actual GRE. Thanks Magoosh!

The math practice problems are very similar to the GRE and the interface used is just like the GRE so it was easy for me to practice the same way that I took the test. Also the flash cards were very valuable I didn't even go through all of them just the common and basic words and I recognized many of them in the verbal reasoning section.

I had fun using it. It was something I wanted to do. I felt like I was learning a lot about math, but I was starting from almost zero in math. I didn't use the verbal at hardly all, but then those questions are weirdly easy for me.

First of all I would like to say that Magoosh Questions are really close to the actual GRE. The Quant Section is very well described with the help of numerous videos. The practice questions allows one to have a grip of the questions that can be expected in the real exam.

The Verbal Section helped me immensely since after finishing Barron's and 1014, the practice questions helped me to understand the level of questions that may be encountered in GRE.

Overall I am really satisfied with the Magoosh Experience!!

I followed Mike's 1 month daily study plan. I did focus my study more on math thus higher score but slacked a bit on verbal. Magoosh lessons and video explanations help a lot. Math problems are definitely harder than the real GRE which is a plus. Their practice exams are a good predictor of the real GRE, as I got Q159 V150 on practice and scored almost the same.
Also during my study, Rachel from Magoosh sent me a dashboard message reminding me to watch video explanations of questions I missed. This shows the company actually cares about you, and is not just in it for the money.

The lessons made reviewing math a painless experience, and they got me to think correctly about answering verbal questions. And the math practice questions, along with explanation videos, and the GRE vocab book made prepping for the GRE a lotta fun. Thanks guys.

Each lesson helped me immensely in recognizing the intricacies of the question types. I only wish I could have practiced the verbal section more. The math section is very comprehensive. This was the only product I relied on testing my skills, and it totally lived up to my expectations.

Magoosh helped me gain confidence, especially at math. I am a non math student and i was pretty scared to take GRE , then my friend told me about Magoosh and that it has best video explanations for all the math topics right from the basics. For verbal Reasoning, magoosh's videos were great, they helped me understand the strategy with which one can crack any difficult as well as lengthy passage easily. I watched every video and practiced all questions twice which helped me score a decent score in math and verbal.

Magoosh has the best review for math out there, and the questions were very similar to the actual GRE questions. The ability to customize my practice and take practice tests made me very comfortable going into the test. If only I had found out about Magoosh sooner I wouldn't have had to cram preparations into a solid week or two of studying. I have no regrets in purchasing the Premium product, well worth it.

I know my quantitative score is not particularly impressive, but for me, it represents a huge accomplishment...one aided in no small part by the excellent math resources from Magoosh! I have been out of school for 11 years, and have been away from any formal mathematics for even longer. I signed up for the GRE one month prior to my testing date, and essentially spent only three weeks studying; I am confident my quantitative score would have been higher had I dedicated more time to preparation. I especially appreciated all of the advice given on strategic approaches to solving quantitative problems.

Magoosh is truly exceptional. My math score improved by 3 points, pushing me into a significantly higher percentile. I only gave myself about 3 1/2 weeks to study on top of my full-time school schedule and part-time job. I know that if I began Magoosh earlier and gave myself more time to study then my score would have been even higher. I hardly used the verbal practice opting to focus primarily on my weak math skills. That said, my verbal score was identical to my first verbal score, still in the 73rd percentile.

The videos and explanations are excellent. The interface is brilliantly designed, contemporary, and easy to navigate. Extras such as flash cards and the ability to customize your practice are excellent resources. The blog posts offer further insight and advice, such as GRE score ranges for universities and additional explanations of problems.

Yes! I focused a lot on math, which I suppose made me neglect the verbal, but I'm happy with my scores.

The higher difficulty level of the questions helped me a lot. The practice tests produced in Magoosh include the experimental section. This gives a real GRE experience. The solutions are very good. Availability of different ways to practice are helpful to a great extent.

Very useful tips. Math is not my bag. I watched all your videos and they were great, but i needed to do much more in the way of practice problems. My fault and denial of (math) reality.

It helped me because the problems were harder than the actual GRE, and the applications were extremely helpful. I also liked the score predictor.

Math was way harder than the REAL GRE. Was fun solving the hard and very hard parts of Math.

It was awesome. It helped me a lot in both verbal and quant. I was never hoping to get more than 310. Quant questions are very good , some of them are tricky , which is quite like the ones that we get on the day of GRE.
Verbal videos are awesome. It instilled confidence in me , that i need not panic if i am not aware of some word that comes in sentence equivalence.

Magoosh is definitely the best GRE prep I’ve ever studied with! I had studied for the GRE with other preps and books for around 8 months to achieve a competitive score. Despite the huge amount of time and efforts I devoted, the score I received last month was not satisfactory. Being flustered and wondering what to do next, I encountered Magoosh!!

I find the product extremely helpful for several reasons. First of all, the video lessons are quite informative and comprehensive. I could re-build my knowledge on Math and learn knacks to solve Verbal questions promptly. Second, the questions are great in terms of both quantity and quality. Due to time restraint, I could not utilize all the questions offered by Magoosh... I believe that with more dedication, I could have scored much higher! Last and most importantly, Magoosh support was truly impressive. They replied me within 24 hours with to-the-point answers, which kept me studying very hard for a month!

In the end, my score has improved by 8 points in ONE MONTH! The road to this score was not easy for me, a non-native English speaker living in a non-English speaking country. Without the help by Magoosh, I would have ended up scoring much lower.
