You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The volume of practice questions was amazing

Lots and lots of practice!

The video lessons and practice questions are great and well-organized with awesome tips to approach different types of problems. For the quantitative section, the questions in Magoosh are tougher than in any other material I referred. In fact, even in the actual test, I found the questions easier than Magoosh and was able to complete the section before the 35 minutes of stipulated time and check my work for any errors.

Moreover, whenever I sent a mail asking doubts, I received the response within 24 hours (even on weekends). Even if my doubts were silly enough, you guys had a lot of patience to clarify all my doubts. Also, my account was about to expire around 10 days before my test day. But you guys helped me by extending the expiry date until the test date.

My favorite part about Magoosh were the tutorial videos that accompanied each question on the practice tests. They really helped me understand what I was doing wrong way better than reading something in a book could.

I think it really helped me with the Quant section. I had not seen maths in 5 years and Magoosh explained every exercise and every trick that the exam has.

I could practice many questions and see the time. The video explanations really helped.

Magoosh helped me immensely, especially in the verbal section. The approach used to answer the RC questions was quite insightful and there was a significant improvement in my verbal score. The practice questions are certainly a level above that of the actual GRE and the hours of practice were key in me doing well. I can't thank Magoosh enough and would highly recommend it.

Content is fantastic. Math questions enable users to think outside of using formulas. Verbal section is good practice too.

The vocabulary app was extremely helpful. But the individual question videos were also excellent.

The difficulty of the math practice questions is very high on magoosh, which definitely benefited me come test day because I wasn't overwhelmed with the difficulty.

First of all, Magoosh helped reduce my anxiety about taking the GRE. I appreciated the videos informing you about the structure of the test, what to expect, etc... The dashboard helped me gauge my progress with my ratio of right/wrong answers. The customized practice helped immensely as it targeted specific areas I need to improve on. The difficulty of the practice problems were exactly what I needed. In conjunction with the 5lb book of problems, Magoosh helped to solidify key concepts, as well as teaching them in a progressive manner from basic to advanced.

I relied entirely on Magoosh for the exam. And it turned out well in the end. The pool of questions you guys have here is more than enough to get a really good score.

Timed questions, practice tests that tracked which subject areas were the most troublesome

I had taken the GRE before without much preparation and my score reflected that. I decided to take it again, but this time I signed up for Magoosh because they have study plans and good videos. Magoosh helped me focus my studies and organize myself so that I could study a little bit each day. I was much more confident going into the second test and all the hard work paid off because I improved my overall score by 16 points and my writing score by .5 points. I am so thankful to Magoosh for helping me improve and now I don't have to worry about the GRE anymore!
