You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The maths questions were amazing and I completely relied on Magoosh flashcards for vocabulary. It was extremely useful

Magoosh helped me in every aspect of preparing for the GRE. The free GRE vocab cards app is awesome and very helpful, math and verbal lessons are very structured and easy to understand. Plus you have very useful comments for every example.
More importantly, Magoosh built up my confidence and somehow managed to make the whole experience fun. Moreover, when I was taking the actual test and started to panic a little bit, I imagined that I was just taking a practice test on Magoosh. It felt very comforting and helped me to calm down. Math strategies

Magoosh is simply what is needed to score well on the GRE. Their approach is based on reasoning and thinking, which is what the GRE demands.Verbal and Quant videos cover all topics.The video explanations are crisp and clear.Plus the over all support and quick response time makes them the best online resource for GRE.

Questions in Magoosh are generally more difficult than the actual GRE questions, so when I'm reading the real questions I feel they are easier and more relaxing.

I was able to watch videos on specific topics I wanted to learn, and the questions in the actual format of the exam helped. Also, the study plan was a good motivator, as it set daily goals for me.

It certainly is the best material for GRE preparation. The questions and tutorials are strictly according to GRE format and standards. I would say the reason for my score at first attempt, is definitely Magoosh- its all you need. Also, the Magoosh team is very helpful.

The math videos were extremely helpful. I did fine in math throughout my education, but hadn't done a math problem since senior year of high school, so I really needed a complete refresher all the way back to "How do you multiply a fraction again?" The tone and pacing of the math lesson videos absolutely made me less anxious. They were clear, direct, simple, and encouraging.

I liked the feedback about my overall performance on verbal vs. quant questions on the dashboard; it enabled me to go in on test day with realistic expectations and goals. (By the way, my math goal was 155 based on that pie chart, so my jaw just about hit the ground when I saw the 158!)

Having full length practice tests built in the Magoosh platform was also very handy.

extremely thoughtful videos that actually help at every stage of the journey (figuring out what GRE is, starting to learn concepts, practicing etc),
quick response to individual queries (and in-depth analysis of the problem, you actually did read my e-mail and my specific question- perhaps I have low Central European customer service expectations but still I was surprised you made an effort to help me)

The lessons very extremely concise and relevant to whatever questions appear on the GRE, so I did not waste time on studying anything that was extraneous.
The online practice questions in conjunction with the study schedule were imperative to my score increase.

First time I went to do the math part I did not have a lot of practice with GRE type problems. I pretty much studied the materials and did some questions. Although I did review a lot of concepts on Magoosh, I think it helped me the best by practicing similar questions to the test.

Clear, concise and relevant videos.
And an excellent and, more importantly, relevant question bank.
Nifty features such as time per question, explanation for all questions, faqs really helped a lot.

I think it helps a lot with my RC, especially when someone can explain the answer that I do not understand.

The video lectures were great to brush up on the concepts. But, the best part was the question bank with detailed video and text explanations for each. These went a long way in helping me achieve the score I had always dreamed of.
