You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh helped me immensely in building vocabulary. The quant questions were useful in brushing up maths skills.

The test section help with setting a good sense of timing while solving questions. The videos for the verbal section drastically improved my score the section.

Questions and lesson videos were great. Flashcards and study guides were also incredibly useful. The customer service was very courteous and fast.

I rely exclusively on Magoosh and ETS material, nothing else.
I wish I had taken advantage of the vocabulary app more, it's very helpful.

The large database of practise problems , wonderful explanations, lesson videos and the vocab app were very helpful. The study plans brought out the principles of prep well, so i could tailor it to my schedule. It also really helped to see a dynamic diagnosis of types of problems and topics in which i was struggling,so i could quickly shift focus to areas that needed attention. I also think practising on the computer from the start smoothed the test taking pains. Highly recommend for working professionals, especially for those trying to fit GRE prep into a tight schedule, i had one month with a full time job. It squeezes into your shorter and longer breaks during the day well. And those who travel a lot , helps motivation when you don't have to lug around several books. The lessons and the schedules helped me study with a structured approach, broaching new topics slowly, practicing all the time. The quality of questions were amazing really, and in the few attempts to expose myself to questions from other GRE services, I found the others quite not GRE like.

My GRE studies before Magoosh were not structured. After signing up for Magoosh and following the plan set out by Magoosh team, I was able to put in a more meaningful effort. The Magoosh questions prepared me for the tough quant section and their explanation by Mike were my sole source of explanation.

Reps for questions are so important and Magoosh is a great resource for that, providing a comprehensive solution guide and explanatory answers/videos for everything. It's also incredibly helpful to use different modes for answering questions and the filtering options for varied types of practice.

The questions were a lot harder, so it made the problems on the GRE seem easier. The videos were really helpful for going through every type of problem and how to solve them. Also, having 600 questions for verbal and quantitative gave a lot of practice.

The practice questions that magoosh provides are great. The explanations to these practice questions helped me a lot in tackling various concepts. The lessons are awesome and flash cards are up to the mark. If it were not for Chris and his blogs, I probably wouldn't have improved much on the verbal part.

I appreciate the computer-based practice in the same vein as the real test. Being able to sort and hit the math types of questions that I was most challenged by was wonderfully efficient.

Practice problems, good practical advice

Excellent TC and SE questions. I also worked on some other TC&SE questions, but they were not as similar as Magoosh to GRE real questions. The four levels of difficulty, video explanations, and blogs are very helpful in practice. Besides, staff respond to my questions very quickly and provide answers in details.

Magoosh was extremely helpful in building up my vocab skills and reading comprehension skills. The video lessons are perfect to know everything about solving any question. Also, the question bank is better than any other gre service provider and mimics the actual gre questions very closely.
