I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I only had one month to prepare and only used magoosh. I scored way higher than I thought, magoosh made it way easier than with a book or tutor. I work full time, so win magoosh k was able to study whenever I had free time whether it was 5 mins or 2 hours.

I'm literally the worst standardized test taker in the entire planet - I took a diagnostic test and got a 155 V and 158 M. I forgot all my rules for math since I've been out of college for 4 years and I certainly was never good at verbal. But, I basically did 90% of all questions that Magoosh offered, did the targeted practice, and reviewed the vocab like CRAZY. I cannot BELIEVE I did better on Verbal than Math - I was astounded. Also, all the blogs were amazing and helped me understand concepts better. Most importantly, the videos both in the lessons and in the practice question section were really what did it for me - I genuinely believe this is what sets Magoosh apart from any other product in the marketplace. It makes learning fun! I studied diligently for about 3 months with a full time job using this product and I was really really really pleased. This is all you need to acing the GRE!

Provided a lot of practice questions which covered all the relevant concepts. The explanations were broken down step by step which made understanding a concept very easy. The explanations also are geared toward efficient problem solving to save time on the exam. I really liked that there was a FAQ section for many of the questions. And of course being able to email Magoosh with questions that I still had trouble with was an amazing feature.

I had only a month to get ready for test. I think without magoosh, i would not have been able to achieve 324. Mobile app, videos, practice tests were immensely helpful.

The last time I took the GRE I was still attending college. Since that time (6 years ago), I graduated college, got married, got pregnant, got divorced and have been a single mother for 4.5 years. I watched every single math video (some more than once!) and did one hour of verbal practice and/or vocabulary flashcards every night for about 9 weeks. I was able to raise my score enough that, if I decide to go on to a doctoral program in my field, I will be able to (score-wise). That's such an amazing feeling, especially as a single parent. I can't tell you what an impact Magoosh had on my academic future, and I want to thank you so much. I especially want to thank the man who did the math videos. The only math I have taken since Junior year of high school (10 years ago), was one 'Math for Non-Majors Course'. Specific math lessons were helpful for building confidence

Magoosh helped me to develop strategies for the writing section, review math and practice content in a timed setting to make sure I had exam timing down.

The verbal practice questions helped me regain comfort with the test's format, and the math videos I watched seemed a helpful introduction to mathematical concepts. I've always struggled with math and found myself wishing that I had had more time to work through the Magoosh math material. I suspect my score would have improved with time.

I really liked the Verbal lessons; they did a great job of showing the patterns that answers had and helping me make educated guesses when I wasn't 100% sure, which paid off! In the second verbal section I marked 7 questions that I wasn't sure about and I ended up getting them all right.

I think the most valuable part for me is the easy and medium questions in verbal and hard and very hard questions in quantative. The hard and very hard questions in verbal adjust me to the difficulty of the exams.

The vocab app is awesome. The videos for the ETS tests and the math review videos were also very helpful.

It gave me a schedule to keep to and motivation to keep working on questions.

I used it only for about 10 days and it was enough. Very good deal and I had fun, looked like the content creators were smart and high scorers themselves, something I can't say about other people who ...teach stuff for a living.

Magoosh provided excellent practice problems, with very clear explanations. Unlike other GRE prep companies, Magoosh is not focused on teaching you the shortcuts, but the instructors actually teach the material.

Magoosh has a lot of high quality questions that are very close to the actual test questions. Each question has a video breakdown as well as literal explanation, which is awesome. Moreover, the mock examination is quite close to the actual test, which helps me on getting familiar with the test.
