You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Helped me with verbal and my pacing during the test. Combined with the flashcards, the course is a great combination.

Incredibly insightful math lessons, focusing on understanding how to approach problems and strategize. I haven't needed this type of math for 20 years, but I think I understand it better now than I ever did in high school. The verbal lessons taught me some key features of GRE verbal questions. Once I understand what the questions were really asking, I could improve both my speed and accuracy. I also got through the entire vocab app.

Those math videos were great! I would have bombed the math without them. Before I started to study I knew I felt good about verbal, but I was terrified of the math. I hadn't thought about most of those concepts in more than 20 years! Mike's straightforward and intuitive instruction made me realize that I actually LIKE math!

I didn't really know where to start studying before I got Magoosh. Magoosh gave me an easy to follow study plan, which really helped me. The practice questions were really helpful as well.

1. All Magoosh questions are of very high quality and are very similar to the actual gre.
2. Chris's and Mike's video lessons were very helpful to fundamentally build the concepts.
3. Lots of Magoosh blogs helped to ossify the strategies.
4. The Magoosh score predictor is eerily accurate.
5. Magoosh lived up to its claim of 8 point increase. In my case it was 9 points increase compared to magoosh first practice test.
6. Magoosh student support team is very efficient. They helped resolve even the smallest of my queries and that too with dispatch.

Magoosh tremendously helped to improve how I approached verbal problems. I was able to improve my verbal from 157 on ETS practise tests to 162 on the actual exam. My math has always been solid, but magoosh really helped me to improve my speed and accuracy. With this I was able to improve my predicated ETS score from 322 to an actual score of 330 with 2 months of magoosh study.

I felt totally prepared on test day. I knew what the test would throw at me and that took away the nervous edge. The video explanations at the end of each practice problem were especially helpful.

Great review of rusty math skills - good strategies for verbal. Love the videos + video explanations obviously. Made studying fun! Also study plans were helpful.

I used Magoosh everyday when I was preparing my GRE test. The verbal questions has a very similar logic as the one ETS has. Though the readings and triple blanks were little bit harder than actual test, they really helped me improve my score.

Magoosh delineates the logic behind each question types, and make learning efficient and effective by setting up well deliberated monthly plan. Basically Magoosh prepared me from knowing nothing to scoring 328 in 50 days, which is totally worth the payment.

Magoosh helped me in all aspects of the test - from pacing to strategy to the endurance necessary to stay focused in a 4+ hour test. In the verbal section, Magoosh really helped me understand the logic of the test writers and what they were looking for in test answers. In the math section, I went from seriously doubting whether it was even possible to complete all the problems in a section to learning how to instantaneously recall math tricks and strategies to tackle difficult problems with time to spare.

The best part of the Magoosh is the freedom of choice that I could review any video lesson whenever needed. The thinking logic behind the questions is very important. After I kept repeating the lessons, I could imitate the thinking logic and imagine the explanation voice while taking the exam.
Although I didn't really follow the 3-month study plan everyday and also might have had a better Verbal Score. It was still a satisfied GRE score, thanks to Magoosh.

Lots and lots of problems. Math was especially helpful. The explanations were great.

Magoosh provided a fairly easy to use database of words and definitions along with plenty of practice questions. Showing the average time for the problems themselves was a great way to learn to pace yourself and the video explanations and pop up definitions during practice were extremely helpful.

The sheer amount of practice problems was great preparation for the GRE. I also found the math lessons to be very helpful and straightforward.

An abundance of practice questions was the best part for me about Magoosh. I loved the immediate explanation after answering a question to know what I did wrong. I felt like the questions on the GRE were exactly what I expected based on my magoosh study. Tips for the writing section were very helpful as well.

Magoosh gave an excellent overview of the subjects touched on in the exam, as well as great strategy tips and study questions. I particularly appreciated how each question was explained, and also how Magoosh recommends what other study guides can be helpful (or not).

The math guides were very comprehensive and provided refreshers that connected material from unit to unit; it all helped me become much more comfortable with the material. Plus the list of commonly used vocabulary (as well as the in-depth videos on Reading Comprehension) definitely improved my verbal score! Overall exceptional experience at every turn - would highly recommend to anyone taking the GREs!
