You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The lesson videos, practice problems and explanatory videos for each problem were all really helpful.

I was attempting GRE, 10 years after my last education degree and was quite intimidated by the whole process. Magoosh helped me understand not only the format of the exam but also provided the tricks and tips that I had long forgotten. The questions and their level of difficulty was quite similar to what I experienced in the real GRE.
With so many half-hearted efforts at providing GRE preparation guides to students spreading online, Magoosh was a very pleasant surprise and the website showed that it was sincere and serious about guiding prospective GRE candidates.

I haven't used the math practice before I take the exam, but I find verbal practice is especially helpful. Since I will re-take the exam soon and plant to do more practice in Magoosh, I will give a more comprehensive review then.

it helped me to learn all the math concepts that I needed to know. The videos and questions with video explanations were very helpful. I also memorized almost all the verbal flashcards.

Magoosh's Video tutorials and timer option for problem solving are its charm. The interface is very user-friendly. The statistical review which you constantly get helps you stay on your toes exactly pinpointing areas to focus.

Great tutorials, explanation of major topics, and test questions.

Math: Know some tricks to figure out the answers quickly.
Verbal: Understand the logic of each questions with several short teaching videos.
Writing: Know how to organise the whole article with profound examples.

Magoosh was the best way to prepare for the GRE. I studied for one month with Magoosh and for it to be the first time I actually took the GRE I am very happy with my scores. I plan on taking it one more time to improve my quant. Love Magoosh helped me incredibly.

Practice Problems

Short cuts. The math short cuts were a life saver and cut my average question-answering time in half.

I actually didn't use it very much, as I kept postponing taking the exam and kept not studying. I decided to write the exam without studying to at least get a preliminary score. Magoosh seems like a great service and were I to retake the GRE, I would definitely pay to use it again (and this time I'd actually use it!)

Vocab flashcards are your greatest feature.

Magoosh led me to the right tools and resources, that pushed me to truly understand the concepts I was studying. This made prepping for the GRE quite enjoyable, and also brought great results. Magoosh's help service is truly exceptional. Every time I reached out, I received better help than I would have if I had a private tutor.

Magoosh Verbal is very close to the real GRE test, and the explanations are inspiring. Finally, my reading speed got drastically improved, and I can get deeper comprehension of these articles. Without Magoosh, I cannot get 157 in verbal section. Questions in Math are also good, much harder than those in the real test. Doing some questions in Magoosh Math gerentees 170 score in GRE Math.

I thought it was pretty great. The lessons were well taught. The math tricks were useful. I certainly would not have done as well as I did without this app. I work full time at a law firm and wouldn't have time to do a full in-person class, even if I wanted to. This provided an excellent way to study for the GRE at my own pace and in a way that could strengthen where I was weakest.

The study guides helped keep me on track and made me feel like I was making progress as well as suggesting a lot of other good study materials. The math videos were really helpful for reviewing methods, some of which I hadn't seen or used since 9th grade algebra.

Magoosh is great

The practice questions were a very accurate prediction of test questions.

You really help me a lot. There are mainly 3 reasons. Firstly the questions from the Magoosh is amazingly great, its difficulty is higher than the actual GRE test, and I practiced a lot with Magoosh , then when I was doing the actual exam , I found that the actual GRE test is not so tricky compared with the questions from Magoosh , I felt more confident; Secondly the magoosh's GRE Vocabulary flashcards helps me ,too . Sadly at that time I did not remember all words , I believe if I remember all I can do better in that exam. Finally thanks to your guys to encourage me a lot , although it's been 5 months since that GRE exam , I remembered that when the exam came nearly you often encouraged me ,without your guys' encouragement , I cannot finish the exam well. THANKS !!!!

The practice sets were the most helpful part. Doing sets of 20 questions with the same time limits I would have on the test helped me improve my work tremendously. It was also helpful to have the explanation videos and lessons linked right to the questions I got wrong. Extremely helpful. I also liked the vocabulary app that you have for iPhone. I wouldn't have received my scores were it not for Magoosh.
