You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh has been a wonderful mentor to me. I studied for around 4 months before taking the exam and I was able to get a decent score of 321. I would recommend magoosh to all the aspirants who want to take GRE. The time bound practice provided by magoosh helps to provide the test environment from Day 1.

It is very close to the real exam, the questions and the videos tutorials really helped a lot.

I scored much higher than I expected, and I passed the verbal score that my school requires. Even though I'm a second language learner in English, Magoosh has prepared me for enough vocab for the test. Besides, the video lessons are extremely helpful, and Magoosh's study plan helps me to stay on track. No matter how I like to procrastinate, I still notice that there's much more I need to study and thus gain some self-discipline because of the schedule. TC and SE questions are extremely helpful in practicing the logic and building up the vocabulary.
The flashcards are helpful for building up vocab too.
I only did a few very hard math problems due to limit of time and confidence in doing math well, but these questions include all the tricks that GRE play in their math problems and very helpful for me to be aware of it.
The tutors are also very helpful in answering my questions, very patient and clear in their explanation.

Practice questions, clear concepts

Strengthened my math basics and provided me with a number of useful strategies in verbal.

Practice tests were very uselful to pace my timing, especially in Quantative Section. I also enjoyed studying from Magoosh Vocablury App and found it quite effective for the actual test preparation.

Great. I was mainly having problems with verbal, after I did all the practice questions on Magoosh, I felt calmer when doing the verbal parts in real test.

It helps a lot

All the customized practice tests were really helpful, including related videos in the bottom, timing compared with others, and really nice looking user interface.

Lots of great practice questions and, particularly, explanations that taught principles and concepts necessary to correct errors in the future!

Practiced a variety of materials. Magoosh was definitely the one which was closest to the actual GRE level.

The math practice problems were exactly what I needed to boost my score by 10 points to impress graduate school programs!

Learning vocabulary and better coping with verbal. I was getting a good score on Verbal during mocks but somehow, I managed to screw it up during the actual test :-(

I had already taken the GRE and used another course. Magoosh provided me with a structure to review methodically and target the areas where I needed to improve. I only used the math side because I was very strong on the verbal without any prep so I cannot speak to that.

The environment is just like the actual exam with the difficulty level slightly higher.

I had never taken the GRE before, and within 1.5 months felt really prepared going into the exam, thanks primarily to the practice questions and solution videos on the Magoosh website. It was great to have questions that were harder than the ones on the actual test. It made me feel very well prepared. Also was very helpful to have video lessons on math topics that were not as fresh. Great overall. I studied all the vocabulary, but again, felt that many of the harder words were not on the test.

The math questions were very helpful - the custom tests were also great for reviewing. That's what I needed to focus on, so I did not use verbal part nearly as much.
