You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I especially liked the Text completion and SE questions from magoosh, the practice interface was wonderful!!! I am sincerely grateful to the model test provided, it was wonderful and mimic the test setting very well.

I was overwhelmed with choices about how to get started preparing for the GRE. Everything felt expensive, similar, and ultimately more about selling me things than helping me succeed.

But, when I stumbled across Magoosh, it seemed special right off the bat. It seemed like the dark horse of the pack: honest, smart, and friendly. The videos were the right length and tone... Just two site visits into my free trial had started, and I was hooked!

I even think I'll miss logging on to watch my dashboard improve, watch a video for a solution that blows my mind, or listen to Mike tell me that memorizing something would be "the worst idea." When I walked away from the test center with my new GRE score (much higher than my goal score), I knew all the time and effort had been worth it.

Knowing that I had paid money for a prep program made me feel more impetus to use it. I enjoyed the video format for understanding what I'd missed on questions.

Learned how to take the test from a strategic perspective. The videos were fantastic!

The flashcards were awesome. I just did the common words set and had so many of the words on my test.

LOVED THE VIDEOS - ESPECIALLY THE MATH ONES. I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE 32 YRS AGO SO THE COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. I APPRECIATED THE BIG PICTURE VIEW OFFERED BY MARK MCGUIRE.

It certainly help me a lot in my verbal part, but I only practice a small amount of math questions so I could not tell its efficiency

I only used Magoosh to prepare for the GRE. The thorough video lessons and the wide array of practice problems helped me overcome my weaknesses in both the Quantitative and Verbal Sections.

The vocabulary flash cards were extremely helpful, the math practice questions were more challenging than the actual GRE and the passage comprehension questions were comparable to the GRE (unlike some other prep courses).

I thought Magoosh had helped me a lot. I took a full practice test before the real test and got a 166 Q. But I didn't improve at all :(

It was very helpful in reminding me of math concepts that I hadn't studied for literally 20 years.

Practice questions on Magoosh are extremely useful. I spent only 2 weeks on GRE. Magoosh prepared me well in such a short time.

Magoosh really brought my Quant score to the next level. I was extremely impressed with out detailed the videos were. They underscored the most important concepts, and even gave a few tricks and shortcuts along the way.

I needed to seriously brush up on my math. The videos helped me relearn a ton!

Practice problems were very helpful

The math sections and overall feel of the exam. I had three weeks to study while still in school full time with a part time job. I didn't have much time, but I was able to improve my math score by 8 points and my overall by 9. I feel I now feel that I have better understanding of mathematical concepts.

Magoosh was fantastic! It helped me to plan my study time, kept me focus, and gave me the tools I needed to do my best. I used the website, but also apps for my iPhone and the Google Chrome extension to learn vocab. All of the platforms were attractive and user friendly. Most importantly, the videos helped me to learn math I hadn't used in many years! I went from completely lost in math, to quite comfortable in a few weeks.

Verbal Practice and vocabulary improvements.

One of the most helpful aspects of Magoosh is the format. Specifically, being able to attempt a problem and flag it for later review or immediately watch the explanation video via the link provided made studying much more efficient and enjoyable. Another strength of the Magoosh format is that it enables each person to tailor their preparation based on their personal strengths and weaknesses without wasting large amounts of time flipping through books and keeping additional notes. I can easily log in and use the question filters to see where I need to focus and which areas I have mastered. Overall, the system is well designed and works as intended.

The vast amount of practice questions and their explanations were incredibly helpful. Also, one huge advantage of practice tests on Magoosh are that they include a experimental section that better prepared me for the grind of the real GRE test.

Magoosh's math lessons by Mr Tracy were very helpful for a quick Math review.I liked them a lot. Also, the english lessons were very useful. Magoosh's question bank is good.

I guess i probably need to take the GRE again since my Quant score seems a bit low.
