You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I like the Custom Practice the most. I can choose different difficulty and practise math and verbal seperately.

I loved the practice problems and the lessons. Everything was very clear and detailed. I felt that all the information I needed to do well was provided.

I was really rusty on math, and the video lessons were really comprehensive. The lessons on writing essays really helped me organize my time better. I felt so much more at ease with the essays because I learned to go in with a game plan. I also love the score predictor and the way you can customize practices. The detailed study plans also kept me from feeling too overwhelmed. Everyone I was in contact with from the Magoosh team was incredibly nice. They extended my account access because my studying didn't go according to plan last year. I really like how you can email someone for a detailed explanation of ETS study material (because they don't always give great explanations, if any). What drew me in, though, were the GRE blog posts. They felt so honest, especially the book reviews, and that (along with the free trial) was what gained my trust. It didn't feel like another company trying to sucker me out of my money.

Helped me study!

The math videos explained the different types of questions very clearly and the examples provided made it easier to comprehend. In addition, the vocabulary app on my iPhone was very convenient .

Extremely beneficial reviews in both math and verbal- spot on. I thought while taking the actual test it was actually a slightly easier version of a magoosh practice test

Magoosh is a little harder than the actual gre so it can improve my ability a lot.Also,the helpers are really kind.

It really helps me with the strategy and the methodology on how to solve the three sections, especially the verbal and the aw. Moreover, the math practice did help me with getting a full math score.

Great questions to practice. A little more difficult than the actual test but that's the good part.

Primarily, I used Magoosh's GRE Flashcards app. I feel that this helped immensely in expanding my vocabulary.

It helped me by its many practice questions and tips on how to study vocabulary. Also, the math questions on Magoosh were far more difficult than the actual GRE test questions!

Math help was perfectly helpful.

I didn't know how to start studying, and the lessons were definitely a good place to start. The lessons are comprehensive; they cover all topics, from the easiest to the hardest. The video explanations for the practice questions really helped me understand what I did wrong and how to improve. I also used the flashcards app a lot, and it was great to be able to study wherever I was. I would not have scored this high without Magoosh! Thank you so much! :)

Magoosh really helped me build confidence with the quantitative reasoning section. The lesson videos were extremely helpful in getting a total review of math topics I hadn't had since high school.

Magoosh helped me refreshing my math skills that I hadn't used since highschool. The explanatory videos with each exercise helped me avoid making the same mistakes over and over. I emailed with questions a couple of times and the responses were always fast and very helpful.

Rebuilding the math foundations

Magoosh was just ideal for me. After taking the GRE for the first time I had little hope on getting such a high score on the second attempt. The vocabulary builder flashcards,the lessons I watched an took notes from, and the many practice questions are definitely to blame for my improvement.

Magoosh is the best GRE source I've come across. Its math section is exceptional, with a wealth of in-dept videos that comprehensively cover the materials on the exam. Its bank of math questions is not only impressive but actually harder than the actual GRE, so that even number-averse people like me can survive on in the quantitative portion.

It helped me to structure my study plan.
As a math nerd, not speaking english natively, verbal lessons were great to identify the type of question and elaborate a strategy to decrypt it.
