You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Incredibly helpful and on-the-spot lesson videos. Great user interface and features with the question bank (ability to diagnose areas of improvement, average question type time, level of difficulty). The entire service is very data driven, which is great - the more data on past performance, the better one is informed to excel on the actual test.

The video lessons were excellent for general review, especially for the math. And I loved the abundance of practice problems- I think that doing all of the problems multiple times is what helped me the most. Customer service and responsiveness were also excellent! I liked the casual, friendly tone to all of the emails.

The magoosh prep material was monumental in my success. No other book I tried had questions anywhere near as good as magoosh.

Magoosh provided me with the necessary tools to study for the GRE. I was particularly nervous about re-familiarizing myself with the material for the GRE Math portion, but Magoosh made it easy for me to quickly pick up the skills needed to feel more comfortable. I think I actually learned more with Magoosh's videos than I did in middle & high school! For the verbal section, Magoosh provided concrete approaches to what can be more nebulous questions and overall section.

Finally, I found Magoosh's study schedules immensely helpful as a way for myself to stay on track and feel comfortable that my preparation would kick in during the actual test.

Magoosh was the best help I could have got ever. The best things of Magoosh apart from the expansive question bank was their one to one help service. They would have an answer to every single one of my doubts and that too within 24hrs or to the max 72hrs. I am grateful to Magoosh for helping me out all along.

My first performance in math on the GRE was so disappointing. Magoosh was invaluable for its affordable lessons tailored for GRE content. I learned how to think more "mathy."

The questions and explanations were super helpful. Very interactive interface. Lots of practice questions. custom practice helped immensely to manage time. The vocab app was all I needed for english.

Every other website has questions, but the explanation videos are what made my score perfect.

I used Magoosh only for my quant score and it was super helpful! The problems were harder than what was on the actual gre and the video lessons were really helpful in pointing out more efficient ways of doing problems. Without magoosh, I wouldn't have known what to study for. The study plans provided were also really helpful. Even though I only had a month to prepare, I used the 90 day advanced study plan and it improved my studying habits. Also- the customer service was amazing. Every time I had a question about what I'm studying, I can email and receive a detailed response within a day.

Quant modules were tougher than the actual GRE. I was able to finish every Quant section 5 minutes in advance. Verbal modules were at par with actual GRE. The tricks were quite handy.

The videos were key. I found the math videos and all the practice question videos instrumental in helping me improve.

Everything is in the highest quality, including all the questions and their answers (both video and text), the vocabulary flashcard, the blogs, cozy emails and considerate tips, prompt and crystal clear answers to my questions, reference to other study materials and so on.

The practice problems prepared me for the intricacies and expectations of the test.

Honestly, I didn't use any study materials until a day before my exam and barely used Magoosh (I did around 60 questions from your website to see what the exam would be like), but from what I saw the materials on the Magoosh website are an amazing resource. What I used the most in the hours leading up to my exam were the free Magoosh flash cards with the app on my iphone. Those really helped me short-term memorize some new words that came up on the exam. I think that if I had actually studied for the exam, I would have done a lot better than I did, but I did well enough to get into the graduate program I was hoping to attend so that is good enough for me.

It gave me clear examples and difficult questions to test my quantitative skills. Further, Magoosh apps gave me a convenient way to study.

Everything! Vocabulary and lots of strategies. Good practice. Harder than the actual test.

Vocab flash cards were fantastic and the dizzying amount of math questions helped me practice to my heart's content.

Magoosh helped me to avoid long calculations on the quantitative section that made me unable to complete all the questions the first time I took the GRE. The study-plan also really helped me stay on track and I was able to achieve my goal score with just one month of studying.
