You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh provided me all the tools I needed and reliable advice and tips to develop my own studying and test taking strategies. Combined with a little self-discipline, I was able to improve my score drastically.

Math!! so much math!

It Helped me get familiar with the test, and get used to reading in front of the computer. The articles in reading comprehension is very much like those in the real tests, and improved my performance a lot.

The enormous question bank and the ability to simulate actual testing conditions were tantamount to my success on the GRE. The quantitative practice problems were indeed much more difficult than that of the actual exam. This effectively allowed me to gain a better understanding on how to use Magoosh's shortcuts and time-saving techinques to score as high as possible on the quantitative section. Moreover, Magoosh's vocabulary app paid dividends as I could essentially practice at any point in time. I was initially quite fearful the day I began to use Magoosh. I was getting many easy questions incorrect and my scores were not indicative of what I desired. However, fear not! Practice and time will eventually get you to where you want to be. I would recommend Magoosh over any other service. 10/10

Magoosh was amazing! I increased my verbal score significantly within a short period of time. Even though I didn't get to watch all the video lessons and practice all the questions, I still get a lot more comfortable with actual GRE verbal questions. I think I will continue study with magoosh for the remaining time of my active account to further improve my score. With all the clearly demonstrated video explanations and lessons as well as the review system?I believe I can have the same kind of improvement as I did last time.

I relied on Magoosh heavily for my GRE Prep! The resources available - the lessons, practice problems with explanations, flashcards, and GRE blog posts like Vocab Wednesdays and Article of the Month, helped me out immensely, especially in improving my vocabulary and reading comprhension. I still enjoy reading the articles of the month because they are so engaging and a great way to improve on my vocabulary!

Magoosh had a very different (less gimmicky) approach to the math section than other GRE prep programs I have used. Even in the short time I had to study, it really helped me to gain a thorough understanding of math concepts and problem solving strategies.

Tons of practice problems, with explanations, and data, and it's paperless!

This is the second time I have taken the GRE, and I found Magoosh to be incomparably better than any other test prep material I've encountered. The video lessons are incredibly thorough and clear, and I found it very helpful to be able to practice as much as I wanted. The test questions on Magoosh were very true to the style of questions on the actual test. I will recommend Magoosh to anyone who asks.

I like that you can have different approaches when using the material: The videos if you prefer instructions or the questions if you like the trial and error method.

Magoosh provided me with lots of practice materials and helpful videos. I really knew what to expect on test day, and I don't think my score would have been as high without Magoosh. I also used the vocab apps, which I actually enjoyed.

1000+ questions and helpful advice. Ebooks are good summaries of the hard points.

Maths

I wished I hadn't wasted time and money on all the other materials before I took the test for the first time. Those were good for getting started but did not parallel what I saw on the actual test at all. The questions on Magoosh are carefully designed and helped me see the subtle differences between answer choices, which I think is why my scores improved. Also, the customized practices really helped with my pacing. The detailed answers to my emails, useful study advice on the blog, reliable book reviews and etc... I can't thank the team enough! Studying vocabulary with Magoosh app is the most helpful. I can remember about 1000 GRE words in a surprisingly short time.
Moreover, it introduces all sections of GRE well and lets me know how to study each section. Comments on the mind control and study plan also make me familiar with the GRE test.

Many video explanations, test tips, question types (in both verbal and math) are really helpful, letting me know what and how can i do on the test, correct tactics, and attitude !

The questions are similar. The feelings are real.
