I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I loved the practice sessions and the explanation videos for each question. Very precise and included lots of helpful tips!!!

Magoosh gives excellent support for math section. It is specially useful for people who have lost touch. Great job done in all the lessons!

It prepared me completely for what I would face. I finished my last degree 7 years ago, but magoosh was a perfect way to get back in the test taking mode.

Magoosh had great lessons (especially math) that really helped me review material I hadn't seen in many years. The practice problems were very helpful and it was great to not have to lug big books around to study. Additionally studying online prepared me for the computer based test. I had not done any academics in years. My math was very rusty. The lectures were concise and thorough, allowing me to quickly learn everything I needed. The two magoosh vocab apps and YouTube channel were all I used for vocabulary.

I was pretty solid on verbal from the start, but the kind of math questions the GRE posed were a source of struggle for me. While I had the knowledge necessary (in most cases) Magoosh helped me build strategies for recognizing question types and how to approach questions that looked complicated and break them into simpler parts.

After a gap of 2.5 years after my under graduation, my major concern was that whether I would be able to follow a structured study material anymore and am I still having the test taking capabilities. But the various practice modes in Magoosh GRE gradually pulled me into the groove of GRE while pinpointing my areas of weakness. After a heavy work schedule of about 10 hours a day, the study material and the answers to the questions which had a personalized touch kept my enthusiasm going. The statistics about my performance gave an idea whether I was ready to take the actual test. Great work done, Magoosh guys and gals.

Magoosh was a fantastic resource for me. I am working full-time and registered for the GRE only a month before I took it. I didn't have the time and wasn't interested in spending the money for a classroom based course. That said, I needed the extensive preparation - in particular for the quantitative section. While the score I got was not as high as I would have liked I know without the preparation through Magoosh it would have been lower. Furthermore, it was right in the range that your software predicted which is a credit to that system.

The vocabulary apps helped me a lot. I did all the math lessons and used the timed practice for math and verbal.

With lucid lessons, handy tips and tricks, preparation was not only easy but also fun. I diligently followed 3 months study plan (Verbal Focused). Moreover, the practice tests include experimental section, which simulates what you will see on the real monster! Besides, the flashcard app was always handy and intuitive, used to play around with them for the entire day. Highly recommended for those who don't know from where to begin the preparations and even for those who are flustered by their scores and would likely re-take the exam.

A large pool of practice samples helped me a lot to get a picture about GRE test. The free flashcards were great, too. Reading sources such as articles, word lists posted on blogs were another great source for me.

I used Magoosh mainly to practice text completion. The questions are well-designed, and close to ETS's way of thinking. They are often harder than those in the real test, which make me more confident during the real test.

The vocabulary flashcards helped improve my vocabulary significantly, which had a direct correlation on my verbal score. I am an immigrant whose first language is not English and I therefore do not have a particularly strong vocabulary, however, I scored a 163 on the verbal section, a success I directly attribute to Magoosh.

I really liked that there were so many practice questions and the score predictor--it gave me a better sense of what range I could score in. The study guide was helpful at first for me, to just get me in the routine of studying--I later adopted it to suit my own needs. The explanations were also great!
