I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The ability to ask questions via email was great. The study schedules and the categorization of the videos helped me get organized and stay focused. I felt like the Magoosh team kept a positive and understanding attitude when it came to answering questions and video tutorials, which helped me keep a good attitude!

Its very hard for me to study just reading out of a book. One of the reasons I purchased your program was because of the video lessons. They were perfect. Short and very detailed which helped to keep my attention. I also loved the practice problems it was almost exactly like the actual GRE setup. It helped me get used to the flow of answering the questions and using the on screen calculator. I liked the practice vs the quiz questions. I was so prepared for the flow of the the test when I arrived which really helped me out. It took away some of the anxiety of taking the test. I really loved your program.

As an international student and never having heard of the GRE it was an unbelievable challenge. Having not been required to take any math or english courses as a marine science student it seemed quite unfair to be asked to take such a test that has no relevance to my line of specialization. I had already proven myself at undergraduate level but taking the GRE was a real challenge for me as math and english are not my strong suits so it was very worrying as it has a huge effect on whether I would gain entry to graduate school. The Math section really helped me out on the GRE. The tips and tricks in different sections helped in analyzing questions carefully and approaching them in an efficient manner. Both the verbal and math sections provided a lot of practice and boosted my confidence going into the GRE.

It helped me to regain my confidence. It has a great variety of practice question that helped me with tricks and shortcuts to solve the problems. Moreover it helped me identify my silly mistakes. Although I couldn't improve in my verbal score, Magoosh did helped with the verbal section as well. Videos and quick note feature are remarkable. Magoosh was amazing! My score does not make any justice to what you can achieve using this product. If you're looking for a perfect score, this is the best product for that. At least for the quantitative section (I didn't prepare with magoosh or anything the verbal section).

I've overviewed Princeton (too easy, I do not recommend it), Barrons and Kaplan and by far Magoosh is the most extensive prep material: reviews that consists of unbelievably detailed videos and practice that resembled the actual test in an excellent way. Moreover, the staff is always willing to help you and they answered all of my e-mails, regardless it was a weekend, holiday, or whatever. Really amazing!!! (But actually, everything is extremely clear and from my point of view you do not actually need to contact them).

In addition, for example I've heard that Kaplan doesn't let you do their exams more than one time, and their practice sets are not as difficult as the exams. It is important to have the possibility to do exercises more than one time because if something happens to you and you need to re-take (as in my case), and in this Magoosh also definitively has an advantage over other products.

I did not study as hard as I should (I work plus I am studying at a university), but I do believe that if you follow the steps this guys are suggesting (videos and all their practice) you can definitively achieve a perfect score. You will be satisfied with the product no matter what. That is how good this product is. Good luck to everybody!

The first time I took the GRE, I was way too slow on the math sections. I used Magoosh in the month between tests and was able to get a much better score.

Magoosh was especially helpful with the Quant. Doing hundreds of challenging problems with a timer was great practice. The lessons and video solutions reinforced the topics.

the math section was fantastic - the videos were really helpful - also the explanations for the problems in the official gre revised test booklet were a god sent - i have to say i probably did not study as much as I should have but this product really helped prepare me - i took these within a month of eachother (so that is an 11 point difference in one month) i should have studied

Your product improved my math score significantly. Although your math questions were a little harder than those found on the exam, I felt this was for the best - sort of like high altitude training. Prior to making use of your study materials, based on personal assessments, I was looking at a 50th percentile quantitative reasoning score. After working with your materials for several months, I scored in the 83rd percentile. Thank you.

I had a great experience! I hadn't taken a math class in nearly a decade and just needed some help refreshing my memory. I only had a couple weeks to improve my score. The ability to see my weakest areas really helped me to study effectively. I can not describe with words how this product was helpful during my Gre studies. I am foreign, even English is not my first foreign language. The lesson videos were extremely helpful and allowed me to revisit some math that I had not solved since 10th grade in high school. The practice questions and video explanations in both math and verbal were always extremely helpful and allowed me to work on my weaknesses. Furthermore, the ebooks such as the Math Formulas and the Vocabulary Guide were helpful as well.

Video lessons were incredibly well done. I like the video and text explanations for the practice questions. I used the math and analytical writing the most.

I hadn't timed myself before using Magoosh so keeping track of time, knowing the average speed of others was really helpful. Also the interface that resembled the actual test was helpful too. Being able to redo "incorrect", "flagged", and the ones that took longer time was a really good practice and was able to gain confidence.

Magoosh really helped me get serious about my preparation. The explanation videos are great and break down even complicated things with ease. While the verbal part is great too, the math section is extremely helpful, especially if you're like me and you had to re-learn math almost from the ground up.
