You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Great verbal practices, especially TC+SE. Quant questions are very useful too. I use the custom practice to adapt myself to the 20questions/30minutes pace.

Magoosh is actually much more difficult than the real test. After finishing the Magoosh Verbal, I took the GRE test and found it much easier than I had imagined. So I finished the test in a short time and got a relatively high score.

Those questions are really good! Some of them are harder than real test, which makes the long reading and math I met yesterday relatively easy haha! Also explanations in both video and text are awesome! Oh Adam also helped me a lot! I'm so glad I've chosen magooosh as my primary material for preparing!

Magoosh's videos were a HUGE help - having explanations for every single question helped a lot, and the lessons themselves were hugely informative. Having instant feedback on questions and video explanations made studying so much easier and helped me to identify where I needed to focus.

I loved the fact that I could take customized practice sections by customizing the time and also customizing for the questions that I wanted more help in. I really liked the video explanations and also how I could immediately see the definition of a word by clicking on the word during the review. Magoosh allowed me to practice anywhere and anytime and I felt comfortable with taking the exam because I became very familiar with the format of the questions.

It helped me review all the concepts necessary for the exam in a concise, organized, time-saving manner. It also provided so many practice questions, and that helped me get a really good feel for the exam overall.

The math lesson videos were AMAZING help, as well as the video explanations to every single practice problem. The writing tips helped me immensely too.

As a foreigner I find the verbal practices to be really helpful. The vocabulary selected by Magoosh is exactly what to be on the test.

It helped me practice hard questions and give me strategies for attacking the verbal section.

The most important aspect is the practice problems. The videos and help functions are also really good. I am quite strong at math, but Magoosh helps me to find some weakness and guarantees that full mark. I am not a native speaker but my university offers all English courses, and I strongly suggest those who like me using Magoosh, which can be better than following those local agencies interpreting GRE strategies in other languages.

The videos were great to break down things, and had interactive parts. Most of it was reassuring. Also, the online questions are great.

I enjoyed especially the math section of the GRE, with the explanatory videos; great way to learn!

The flashcards are uselful on vocabulary building. Practiving qustions help me to improve my skills and shorten my time for answering

Since I work full time, the access to Magoosh study material via my phone was really helpful to study on my commute and at lunch breaks. I also found the given study plans on the blog very useful.

I was a bit nervous about the gre because I haven't been in school for a while. The online lessons were a great way to recap all the math I forgot. They also have great tips on how to think about problems like the test maker.

For verbal, I mainly focused on memorizing words and I used the magoosh vocab apps. I really liked that they had a web version that synced to the app because I could easily pick up when I was on a computer.
