You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh helped me get refresher on math concepts that I hadn’t used in years, as well as teaching me some concepts I had never learned (went to school in France, so we have a different curriculum). The vocab app was also very helpful to study new words on the go !

Really helpful to offer day-by-day programming and plans. I took the 3-month course and I enjoyed how each day featured both video lessons and more or less "random" questions. It felt really overwhelming at first to be thrown straight into answering questions, but so satisfying to start recognizing problem types as you progressed through the course.

Magoosh helped me significantly in reviewing all of the math concepts, as well as introducing me to much of the vocab that was on the test.

The practice exams was the most useful tool. On my first exam, I only used the quiz bank but did not really utilize the timing portion. After taking 5 practice tests prior to the 2nd exam, I have developed the confidence and timing skills to earn my goal score!

Magoosh helped me systematically attack my areas of weakness, and helped me strategize the test so I could maximize my scores, and it TOTALLY worked!

Helped me tons! Was the only prep I used and I did even better than my practice test estimates! Videos were helpful as well as practice tests and questions!

My biggest issue with the Quant section was timing. Working through the difficult Magoosh problems helped me hone my pacing, and reading the thorough provided solutions helped me identify alternative methods I could utilize to get to the solution faster.

I learned a few tricks to speed up my math, which was my main issue.

I have three kids (including a 3-month old) and I was able to study whenever I had 5-10 minutes with the online tools and the app. The verbal flashcards app for my phone was really helpful and I could study when I was up during middle of the night feedings. And the math videos were very helpful too.
