You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Time saving tricks, remembering math I hadn’t done in years.

Practice questions with difficulty indicators and time comparisons, explanations, and relevant video lessons. The video library was sorted into modules with speed choices and transcripts and extra links. Customizable practice and full-length tests. Overall statistics of my speed and my accuracy. Daily schedule based on one-month plan. Helpful emails guiding me to apps. Most importantly, teaching me how to take this test and providing me a way to take action and focus on studying.

Although my verbal score did not improve, I appreciate Magoosh. I will take the exam again because I am understanding the logic behind the GRE. At this point, I cannot tell if Magoosh has improved my issue and argument essays. But overall, I like Magoosh's service.

Magoosh is one of the best sources for preparing for the GRE. The math lessons are refreshing. I'm definitely going to be using some of the number sense tricks forever. Chris's jovial nature makes the verbal lessons really enjoyable. Every lesson - both in quant and in verbal - have sample question walk-throughs which cover a good range of difficulties across the course. The practice questions are top-notch, helping you truly be ready for the big day. Magoosh also makes it a point to respond to your questions, which I feel is really important and, for me, their responses have been pivotal in letting me decide how to face the verbal section.

Magoosh gave me a clear idea of what the GRE actually is and provided me with enough materials to take a solid preparation for the exam. I don't think anyone should need any other materials if he/she regularly follows all the study materials provided by magoosh.

All of the practice questions and ability to do tined practice changed my entire preparation experience. I felt prepared for the timing and prepared to do well.
