You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The daily lessons are super helpful! It kept me on track.

Great math videos, really helpful

I took my last GRE in 2013, one year out of undergrad. So, this time around it took me a very long time to get back to my prior level. It took me time to adjust to the pace/style of self directed study (I took an excellent in person class last time) but after adjusting I really liked the magoosh system.

The math lessons prepared me for every kind of question the test could possibly throw at me. My skills align with those tested in the verbal section and the quantitative section was a serious challenge. Magoosh took me from knowing nothing to knowing exactly what I needed to know for test day.

It reminded me of math concepts I had forgot about and introduced helpful shortcuts.

Lesson videos and practice questions were SUPER helpful! For both quant and verbal sections. I followed the month study plan, and was able to learn at a perfect pace. I relied solely on Magoosh material + one ETS practice exam, so I’m super happy with my Magoosh membership.

The practice was amazing! I had no idea what the GRE was like in terms of content, structure, pacing, etc, and all the lessons and practice questions were absolutely crucial to my performance and feeling of comfort when taking the exam. The different plans and timelines were incredibly helpful too.
