I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The lesson videos, excercises and flashcards were my full preparation for the test.

It's been many years since my last math course, this program helped to dredge up concepts I had long banished to the deeper parts of my memory. The explanations were very helpful and allowed me to achieve a passable score on the math section, something I had previously been convinced was impossible.

Magoosh allowed me to independently guide my training to focus on the areas that I needed the most work rather than following a generic course. It was also extremely mobile- being a consultant that travels 4-5 days every week, the Magoosh mobile apps were essential to my studying because I cause use them on the subway, during taxi rides, even in line at the airport. Lastly, the problems were just the right level of difficulty for the test.

The learning lessons help me most. The teachers taught me plenty of specific methods that I just need in preparing period. And besides, all my questions could be solved perfectly, it's so great.
While I died on math(still don't know why), Magoosh help me a lot on my math techniques.

First the customizable practice feature gives one the opportunity to vary timed practice to one's study mood and condition. It also makes review of wrong or slowly answered questions very convenient. Magoosh's full length practice tests effectively simulate the actual GRE exam experience. The score predictor is also accurate. Then, I like the help support. Emails are usually replied very promptly within 2 working hours. Their advice and suggestions towards preparation are usually effective.

Practice problems helped a lot to tackle questions in the exam

Replies to questions that weren't automated, FAQ sections that actually helped, all the video explanations, the video lessons, the interface, and the list goes on and on!

The videos helped explain the proper way to avoid all the GRE's traps. I knew most material (at least for math) but magoosh helped me understand how to take the test itself.

I used the vocab app to study for the verbal section, and used the practice questions and videos for math. Even as an engineering student, I hadnt done that math in ages and the lessons were extremely helpful!

Video lessons on RC helped me figure out what exactly several types of questions asked about.When I took the GRE last time,I was confused by the weaken/strengthen question...Also,after completing all the very hard mode of SE & TC,I found the real test not very challenging.
Magoosh Flashcard app did filter out unnecessary words,lightening the burden.

The explanations of the problems are very helpful. So is the practice test. I used it to find my best pace doing a test as long as 4 hours. The vocabulary flash cards are very useful as well! I am sure I would get a higher verbal grade if I went over all the flash cards...

I used magoosh especially for the Quant.
It helped especially for simple questions. In the real test there approximately 15 easy/medium difficult questions. They are easy but tricky, this software helped me in cracking them.

The completion of a large number of practice questions left me with no real surprises on test day. The vocabulary flash cards were also a huge help in the verbal section. With limited study time available, the "common words" were especially useful.

Magoosh helped me understand how the GRE test works. There's a lot of information out there and it can become quite overwhelming. Magoosh centralizes all of this information and provides it in a very clear-cut manner.
I started with a strong basis in math but decided to watch all of the videos nonetheless. I am very glad that I did as these videos taught me countless tips and tricks to help me answer the most difficult questions.
I struggled more with the verbal section but Magoosh helped my develop a method for approaching the questions in this section. Additionally, the vocabulary flashcards were fantastic. An absolute must-have for anyone taking the GRE!

Tremendously...I used another online prep software before Magoosh, because I like that magazine/brand (not hard to figure out which one). Their problems are not really similar to actual problems. As I heard before I started using Magoosh, M is harder than the actual test. But this is a good thing.

Great practice questions, especially for verbal reasoning: aside from ETS material, Magoosh was without question the best third-party resource for realistic verbal test questions. I felt as though I bombed the math sections on the test (I anticipated a score of >165), but this was primarily due to poor time management on my part. Generally speaking, Magoosh's math practice questions (specifically the hard and very hard problems), are more rigorous than what I encountered on the GRE.
