I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The sample problems accurately reflected the ones on the test. Answer explanations were thorough and instructive. Custom practice allowed me to home specific skills.

Magoosh helped me understand how the GRE test works. There's a lot of information out there and it can become quite overwhelming. Magoosh centralizes all of this information and provides it in a very clear-cut manner.
I started with a strong basis in math but decided to watch all of the videos nonetheless. I am very glad that I did as these videos taught me countless tips and tricks to help me answer the most difficult questions.
I struggled more with the verbal section but Magoosh helped my develop a method for approaching the questions in this section. Additionally, the vocabulary flashcards were fantastic. An absolute must-have for anyone taking the GRE!

Tremendously...I used another online prep software before Magoosh, because I like that magazine/brand (not hard to figure out which one). Their problems are not really similar to actual problems. As I heard before I started using Magoosh, M is harder than the actual test. But this is a good thing.

Great practice questions, especially for verbal reasoning: aside from ETS material, Magoosh was without question the best third-party resource for realistic verbal test questions. I felt as though I bombed the math sections on the test (I anticipated a score of >165), but this was primarily due to poor time management on my part. Generally speaking, Magoosh's math practice questions (specifically the hard and very hard problems), are more rigorous than what I encountered on the GRE. 1) Magoosh is super helpful. I was scoring at 143-145 ranges in Verbal. Practicing Magoosh alone I could able to identify the sift sentences, complex sentences , RC techniques (Though I still have to master it). 2) The practice questions are very quite difficult and made me understood the complexities of logical spread. At times it felt like much harder than the actual GRE but that's okay.I got better equipped with harder challenges 3) The questions pool had given me the options to make any number of competition possible to make my own test series.And that can be timed and can be customized as adaptive to very hard complexities which would never made me in dearth of practice questions. 4) The video explanations and your blogs and FB Super fan page is very helpful.5)Even I got help with respect to setting my study plan.strategy making for scoring high and other valuable inputs to do better whenever I seek help from ( ? Help) :) ). 5) It never felt like it is self help site.

The math tutorials were excellent, as I have not worked with such math essentially since high school. I found them informative and enjoyable. The verbal lessons were informative as to the structure of the test and confidence-building as the last time I took a standardized test (SATs), I was much weaker in verbal, but it's good to know I've strengthened over the years.

The verbal part is really good. Overall, the email assistance is very prompt and detailed. They helped me maintain my energy levels during the preparation.

Magoosh helped make the GRE more approachable and easy to manage!

Magoosh was the very first place I started with GRE studying and it was the perfect place to do so. The lesson videos made the material really approachable and broke everything down into sections that made sense. After going through all the videos and section quizzes I used the custom practice option to practice everything over and over again. Being able to specify exactly what I wanted to practice was key. Especially being able to filter by questions I got wrong in the past, not many offerings allow you to do that. The score estimate was also very useful. Its shifting estimate continued to be accurate throughout my practice tests, and all the way through to my actual GRE result.

Magoosh's videos and practice questions greatly helped me remember math that I hadn't taken for over 10 years. Also, knowing the range of scores I was expected to receive allayed a lot of my test anxiety.

Provided the whole range of potential question types. Easily organised difficulty levels and type of questions for quick reviews. To-the-point videos that illustrate the quickest and simplest way to approach any question.

It was very helpful in providing a ton of practice questions that were very similar to the actual exam questions. The videos, especially for the math section, were great for brushing up on topics I hadn't seen in over ten years. It was also helpful for providing a brief overview of how to approach the writing/analytical section. I ended up getting a 6 on that section so very happy with my overall performance thanks to Magoosh.

I used Magoosh the first time I took the GRE as well. This time, I spent more time going over the problems I got wrong. I wish there were more math questions to practice as I think the only thing that kept me from getting a perfect score was my speed.

Very well prepared short refresher lessons on Maths along with valuable, GRE oriented tips on pitfalls etc on the concepts side of it. The well tuned question bank and tests were indispensable for practice. The prompt response / clarifications on any queries and concerns was also very encouraging.

The videos refreshed my memory on a lot of math concepts I had totally forgotten. The practice tests also really helped me build up confidence and stamina. The magoosh problems actually seemed harder than the real GRE problems, which made the real thing seem easier.

I utilized every single Magoosh lesson. I did four practice tests and tons of the questions. I liked the explanation videos and breakdown of type and difficulty of questions. I improved so much with just a month's prep. I was dejected and on verge of postponing applications after my first test score. Magoosh is the perfect example of how to prove anyone wrong when they say you can only improve your score more than 2-3 points per section especially with just a month's prep. Magoosh gave me pinpointed instruction and explanation, but more so its guidance gave me confidence.
