You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I really enjoyed using Magoosh. I preparing for the GRE after not having taken math in over ten years, and the math video lessons really made the material understandable and engaging. I also loved the fact that I could pause and re-watch the videos as often as I wanted, something I would not have been able to do in a classroom course. I had a few questions and Magoosh staff always responded to them very quickly. I also loved all the helpful information in Magoosh's blog. I was so grateful to have this great service all at an affordable price. Thank you!

I had 2 months of time for preparing for the GRE. The verbal section was completely new for me, and there were these scary looking so-called "GRE WORDS". I used Magoosh flashcards to memorise words, and watched all the videos for verbal section. Some really useful tips are provided by Chris which actually helped me a lot on the exam day. Not only this, the practice questions on both Math and Verbal section are of appropriate difficulty, which prepared me nicely for the exam. The "help" option provided by Magoosh is awesome. They have responded to my queries EVERY SINGLE TIME. Mostly I asked for more clarification on some particular verbal question, which I found incomprehensible even after watching the video explanations. The responses to my questions were very specific, pertaining to the doubts which I asked, and they were very elaborate- clearly explaining the question and not leaving any further room for doubts.

I actually did worse on this GRE than on the one I had previously taken. However, I found the math lessons very useful. They helped me understand the concepts better.

I followed the 90 days plan with an emphasis on verbal. I found the day-to-day schedule very helpful, especially given that I have a day job. The well paced plan prevents me from stressing myself out by trying too much each day after work.

Magoosh helped a lot by its great lessons and problems. It also gave concrete forecast of my test score and recommended according lessons to me.

The instructional videos were good. I liked Mike the math instructor especially. He had the "math is an awesome thing and let's actually learn it" type attitude that I adhere to in my collegiate studies. The problems were very good and challenging.

I wasn't sure where to start on my GRE studies, so the study schedule was extremely helpful in guiding my studies. The vocab flashcards were great and the practice problems were very similar in concept and phrasing to the actual test, so they were very helpful.

Made the process of studying a lot more organised.

The questions on Magoosh were just like the questions on the test. AWA outlining strategy was very beneficial for me as well.

Their mobile app proved incredibly convenient with the ability to learn and review vocabulary on my daily commute, or whenever I was away from a computer.

Magoosh was extremely helpful in managing my study time, with their study plan that mapped out how I should be preparing for the exam in the time that I had before my test date. The videos taught me useful strategies for tackling each question type that helped me do well.

It gave me the opportunity to get face to face with real test problems and practice to improve my weak points.

The practice questions and practice test on Magoosh.com were a big help in prepping me for the GRE. The video lessons for math were invaluable in helping me review. But my favorite thing was the Vocabulary Builder app I could use on my Android phone. It made it easy to review throughout the day. I liked how it kept track of the words I didn't know and repeated them several times until I got them down.

Well-rounded teaching experience that was very beneficial in helping me re-learn math & verbal techniques. Loved the combo of videos and text explanations. The lessons were very clear and concise!

The pool of practice questions, and explanations were extremely helpful. As well as the vocab flashcards - I was pretty much using them whenever I had spare time while traveling. I also appreciate the helpdesk for answering my queries.
