You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It helped me review math topics and get familiar with question styles. Practice problems are the way to go and I loved the video explanations with every single question.

The videos provided in the Math section were especially helpful. Additionally, the study plans were helpful as well.

It helped me to get accustomed to various kinds of GRE problems, and its vocab builder and "Guide to GRE vocab" nearly doubled my vocabulary.

I liked the breadth of the subjects covered and the explanations. The splitting into different review sections including the difficulty levels was very helpful. The dashboard is a indeed a thing of marvel. I really liked that I could come home after work everyday and start on timed 20 question sets of Q and V.

I credit Magoosh for my significant improvement from practice to actual test. I thought that the Manhattan tests were a great compliment, as the material was typically pretty hard (harder than on the actual GRE in my experience).

I was able to go through problems and learn the question types. It was great to see estimated scores to keep track of my improvement. I also reviewed vocabulary that came up in the problems. I really improved a lot by going through the practice questions and got better results than expected on the real exam.

Actually, I had some English issues thus even if I had a strong mathematical basis sometimes I did not always understand what the question required. Magoosh helped me to understand the spirit of the GRE

The large bank of practice problems was invaluable. I already knew many of the math concepts tested, but what I needed was consistent practice in the sort of creative problem-solving tested on the GRE, and Magoosh's problems bank provided just that. In every way literally. Without Magoosh I could never have obtained a 170. I wasn't even really aiming for a perfect score but Magoosh was that great that I got it. I think Magoosh is absolutely essential for anyone planning on taking the GRE.
