I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It helped me a lot.. Math lessons are actually fabulous.... I am an engineering student however the videos helped me a lot to review.. and if I could sleep on the night of exam , I would get 170... Verbal videos are very good .. actually strategies are quite practical.

I did an undergraduate degree in Architecture, and only had math exposure through our structures courses. Otherwise, I was totally in the dark. The quant videos and practice questions were crucial to my success. I completely exceeded my expectations.

Giving video explanations for each question was very useful. Having so many available practice questions was also the key to helping me study.

The videos and practice questions were great. I thought the practice questions were maybe at a level a tiny bit above the ones on the actual GRE, which was great!

Most importantly, Magoosh gave me a grueling schedule to hone my skills in three months. I used a modificated version (including two essays a day and own flashcards) of the schedule for advanced students, which can be found on the Magoosh Blog. What impressed me most was the fact that the schedule included a book from a competitor, underscoring my impression that Magoosh genuinely tries to be the best product for test takers.
In a nutshell, I do not think I could have delivered such a performance without Magoosh.

While most review materials for the GRE are cursory, Magoosh facilitates an in-depth and foundational understanding of the underlying concepts behind the test material. After a month and a half of using magoosh I truly developed an ability to properly orient myself to any given question and understand what I was supposed to be looking for in an answer. The sheer amount of practice questions available, the study guides, the flashcards (being accessible by iOS App was amazing), and the very rapid question response from Magooshers helped me prepare adequately and score well.

The exhaustive sets of questions for quants and verbal were very useful as they covered all the topics that needed to be studied. Magoosh made it possible to finish studying for my re-take within 2 weeks. The Magoosh video lectures are concise and help master the topics within a short period of time.

I really had little time to study and practice, even in those conditions I think I did well. At least I got the minimum score I wanted.

I'll keep praticing, to take the test one more time, to improve my score.

Very clear and focused videos, oriented towards cracking the GRE. I couldn't have scored without you. I found the verbal e-book very helpful. Mike, you actually make Maths seem easy- for non-maths people like me!!

Overall, highly recommended. I think it's the best GRE tutorial available.

Well, I badly needed math help. My math score did not improve at all, but I think that my math skills did: according to the GRE diagnostic, on the first GRE test, the second quant section was filled with easy "1" and "2" questions while this time around it was filled with hard "4" and "5" questions. So I guess I improved enough on the medium questions to receive a harder section, even though my GRE score sadly did not reflect that improvement. I'm applying to grad school now, but if I don't get in anywhere, then next season I'll use Magoosh again to try to further improve. In any case, Mike McGarry's lessons were excellent--the math education I never received.

Magoosh helped me understand how to tackle the GRE as a whole as well as specific problems. The strategies, tips, and tricks from the lessons were invaluable to my test prep!

Magoosh made studying extremely efficient. The exercise quality was high, the video explanations were clear yet concise and the question review tools were excellent.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to dedicate enough time to GRE prep. Two weeks of evenings while on the road plus four full days aren't enough to reach a score that is competitive for admission at top 5 US schools. The rest of my application is very strong, so I will still apply and see where it goes. But my hopes are now low.
I would still like to thank Magoosh. If I were to retake the test in the future, I would choose Magoosh Premium again without hesitation.

It was great to have projected scores based on my practice performance. The answer explanation videos were very helpful.

I thought Magoosh had great practice questions - especially in the verbal section. I also used the mobile app to study vocabulary words and found it an excellent way to memorize new words. It was especially helpful because I could study in small chunks when I found myself with some spare time but no access to a computer.

Magoosh was my major source of Gre preparation. I took advantage of verbal flash cards , videos and practice questions. The practice questions were hard enough to enable me solve the real Gre problems with ease. I interspersed watching videos and solving corresponding practice questions. I felt very confident about attempting verbal after going through magoosh flash cards. Of course, I practiced to conceptually understand how the words related in a sentence. Above all, I loved the learning interface that Magoosh offers. So, thank you Magoosh team for helping me with Gre preparation.
